“So I just tried this place for the first time with my girlfriend. It's not the flashiest place but there's something appealing it. Probably the word Samurai in the name lol. The menu that I was handed is different from the one you see when you Google the restaurant. The newer one has much more of a selection to choose from. With that being said, I chose "shrimp, streak, and scallops" with noodles and fried rice from the three, we'll say component(for lack of better word) menu, since not all the components were meat. He asked me how I wanted my steak which was nice. And it came just like that. Very tender. I'll give the food a 3.5 out of 5 only because I don't think the shrimp was raw before he put it on the hibachi. It was just a little tough for my personal preference. But I can also tell the difference between a cooked then frozen and a raw cooked shrimp. My girlfriend didn't seem to mind at all though. And also the rice could have been like 2% better. I'm just saying. The portions were decent enough. My plate ran me about $23. I'm not exactly sure how that works for most people but I'm okay with that for my food to be cooked right in front of me. All in all I was pretty satisfied with my meal. It was enough for me to eat twice and I definitely polished it all the way off. I'd say check it out.Wheelchair accessibility: That's a yes“
“Exceptional experience. This place is upscale for hibachi - at least the price tag would indicate so. Aside from the expense, the staff is full of personality, the atmosphere is welcoming, the food is to die for... They did NOT disappoint. Worth every penny and can't wait to go back.“
“This place is amazing. From the great quality of food being served. To the nice and calm atmosphere of the restaurant. Everyone has a great attitude with everyone that comes through the door. In the photo I have the 2 for 10.99 sushi(which comes with salad or soup. Both amazing). I like hot & spicy foods so I chose Spicy Crabmeat and Spicy Shrimp. It was delicious. I recommend this place 10/10. Dine in, Pick up or Delivery. Service has always been 100% perfect.“
“I absolutely can not express how much I enjoy this establishment. It's a quaint sliver of delight! Personal booths, sushi bar, tables... it smells neutral which means it's not hiding odors or ruining your taste pallet. It's comforting. I come in fairly often looking like a beach bum but they always welcome me properly. The price point to quality is unmatched in Arlington. Don't expect Real crab at their price. But the Itamae (Chef or probably owner) offered to buy real crab if I would prefer. How cool is that. I cannot express how impressed I am with this beautiful establishment. I recommend the Sushi Sashimi Bento. I have yet to try their bulgogi but they have it!! 度も ありがと“
“The food here is great for the price. I always get the Ida roll and the dragon roll. The chef is very nice and the service is top notch. I travel 20 minutes at least once a week for their delicious rolls. The building and dining room is small but don't let that fool you, the food is GREAT. highly recommended if you're in the area.“
“I love the food! Definitely the shaggy dog roll, in my opinion. I absolutely love the service. It is soo comfy and a very cute worth it place to eat. To me I love the tree and the fish in the fishtank. It is very clean where I've seen it.I love Little Tokyo!!!!!!Parking: Barely any parking but worth it during dinner but delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: I would love to have handicap/wheelchaired people having so much fun eating and enjoying the food.“
“Tried a few items here. The special roll choices are minimal, and all seem to have either cream cheese or asparagus or both. Ended up going with a spicy tuna roll that was strange but still good. I'm from NYC so this was a let down. The sake we had was good, although the server brought the wrong one, and when we realized it was a mistake, they brought a sample of the sake we wanted. May I suggest looking at sushi menus on the east coast for some ideas and maybe some variety? Also the spicy tuna should be mixed with a spicy mayo. Not just topped with hot sauce.“
“I have been visiting from when they were a small place by the I20 until they built the beautiful place they have now. In all that time ( 17+ years) this family owned place has never lost the goal - to make the customer feel like part of the success. There is no other place I would recommend for a Green Crystal roll ( talk about great use of cucumber!!) or a house special ( ranging from intricate sasami to to die for sushi). The family atmosphere goes above and beyond.... This group served me from inception of my only son, up until his 10th birthday and always made us feel at home. Thank you so much for all the Hibachi Dinners to helping me introduce Texas to the Culture. I am truly in your debt! Love you all!AngelVegetarian options: From the Hibachi grill to the Sushi bar, no one will leave hungry.Dietary restrictions: They will cater to any needs you may have!Parking: With the huge property, parking is never a problem.Kid-friendliness: This family was there when I was craving fish at 4 months up until that child became a young man asking for Spider Rolls. They always have the child chopsticks to help little ones learn! ( Perhaps adults too ?)“
“After two years of being a regular customer, I am finally writing a review on my favorite restaurant. This place has the best prices, best atmosphere, best service, and BEST food. As a college student, I am constantly hungry and I spend way too much money on food but I never feel guilty eating here as there are always so many budget friendly options on the menu. It is a family owned restaurant, that never fails to deliver on the quality of their food and service. They have a dish for everyone so if you don't like sushi, don't worry; their ramen and fried rice options are delicious too. If you haven't eaten here yet, you're missing out! Here are some of my recommendations for things to try:My favorite appetizers: miso soup, monkey brains, takoyakiFavorite sushi rolls: winter roll (warm, comforting), dragon eel roll (savory), caterpillar roll (warm, comforting), crazy crunch roll (discount roll, super tasty for salmon lovers), cowboy roll (savory, warm)Bang for your buck meals: any of the bentos, birria ramen, shoyu pork ramen, combination fried rice“
“Never once had a bad experience here...We get starters- edamame, crab Rangoon spring rolls, soups, etc... and we always get sushi and hibachi meals....so freaking good!- The food is always incredible, fresh made & fairly priced.- The service is always great. We've mostly eaten in but my family and I have also ordered over the phone and picked up..Id say five to ten times, easily. Calling in is quick, easy and our orders are always perfect (I seriously can't say that for any other restaurant I've ever gotten takeout from).- My youngest son has been eating here with me since he was like 8 and is his favorite sushi spot also. He has his normal favorites he gets but every time we go, he picks a new sushi roll that he hasn't had before and every time has LOVED what he got. This spot is way better than the one by taco Bueno & is better than the 'fancy' further ones that are way more expensive.“
“Food is decent, we tried everything from the sushi to ramen. I wished the person who waited on us could have been more friendly and willing to answer questions about menu, it was our first time eating here and we asked for a recommendation but just received a blank stare and were informed that she doesn't eat there. Even if that's the case, it would be better service to maybe suggest a popular item or special. We might or might not be back, that wasn't the worst service I've experienced but can be a turn off for future reference.“
“Great food with a great atmosphere. I only knocked a star off because they were out of the first 3 appetizers that we asked for. Also my sushi combo I ordered was chef's choice which would have been fine had the menu said so. I'm hindsight makes sense but I wish the menu had stated so. Fyi my girlfriend's bento box came with so much food, very nice!“
“We went here for my husband's birthday. There were a few bobbles, but overall everyone got full and had a great time. The food was good. Initially, I was disappointed because the chef didn't do some of the things you associate with a hibachi experience, but then, at the end, he made a huge volcano! The portions were large, and several of us took to go boxes. We enjoyed our visit.Vegetarian options: I ordered the vegetable plate and got huge portions of veggies. Very tasty!“
“my dad and i went here on our way to a concert and after dining here, its no wonder it has a 5 star rating. the fish was fresh, the options were exceptional, but the best part was the staff! i was shocked to find out this is a chain; it has a mom and pop vibe based on the service and how the workers interacted with each other and us. they were kind, attentive, speedy, and knowledgeable. the service was a breath of fresh air and would've been considered exceptional before the pandemic. kudos to your staff! they deserve all the praise and more ❤️?“
