“Had the Korean chicken sandwich with a peach bourbon smash. The sandwich was delicious. The fries were okay. Food came out quickly and service was solid. Marcos was good. The drink was quite refreshing and a good experience overall. They have a lovely outside area that I'd recommend going to at night for a pleasant experience.“

They explained sashimi and sushi are made fresh per order. Then they brought to the table 3 pieces of salmon. So literally we waited for more than 30 mins since we ordered to get 3 pieces of fried oyster and sashimi!!!! (If we dont complain, possibly the wait will be longer). No one visit or check our status during the time. This is supposed to be AYCE!!! At this speed, we will have to wait all night to get what we want. I understand becoz of Covid then buffet has to change a bit but this is how they limit you to order!!! Got so frustrated so we decided to leave. Be prepare to wait or just go somewhere else!!!“

I got the dragon roll and it was over filled with imitation crab, a pinprick of avocado but a good amount of yellowtail topper. Terrible execution. Cucumber salad was also disappointing. Overall, I may try this once more as it was def better than Oishii but so far, only Hatsuyuki and Nikko have been able to compete with my rankings while searching this side of the airport. “We come here for the sushi. It's our favorite place to go when we're in the mood for it. We often get the spicy salmon roll, the pacific roll, the avocado roll, and the calamari roll. My husband also enjoys the gyoza and orange chicken from time to time. The atmosphere is nice and they're always welcoming. The manager, June, always greets us with a smile and checks in on our family.“

“This is a small (maybe seats 20 people) sushi place, but it has a lot of great rolls at a good price. They also have a "all you can eat" deal for $25, but you should be aware of three things - 1) everyone at the table has to get the all you can eat (this is pretty much expected in my experience, but there were people there at our last visit that seemed very confused and upset by it), 2) it's a limited menu, so you can't order everything on the menu under AYCE, and 3) as with other AYCE sushi, you will have to pay extra for anything you order but do not eat. If you plan on an appetizer, at least two rolls each, and the orange-chocolate dessert, it's worth it for a solo diner, but it really shines with multiple people so you can try different rolls!“

“My husband and I went here for the first time for dinner and we were impressed from the moment we walked in. We had actually intended to eat at another sushi place but they didn't have a table so we went here instead and wow I'm glad we did! The atmosphere of this place is beautiful with it's lighting and calming color palette/decor. We were seated immediately and even though they were busy, it didn't feel super crowded or loud. We sat at a very small booth table despite being offered a table instead (we opted for the little table because there was only 2 of us and we didn't want to take away a larger table in case a larger party came in and needed one) but it still had room for what we ordered and was comfy. Bathrooms are clean and have multiple stalls plus baby changing stations and the tables are cleaned quickly after diners leave to make way for new guests. The service was polite, fast, and informative making ordering super easy, especially since we were first time diners. The Stacey's Mom roll was AMAZING, the egg rolls were crispy and flavorful, but the entrees stole the night. My husband got the combo meal with shrimp, chicken, beef, noodles, and veggies and I got the shaken beef (I believe this is the name). Both were delicious! Beef melts in your mouth and the flavors dance on your tongue. Portion sizing was good for the price, for example mine was ~$16.50 and was filled with the perfect amount of meat and rice to justify the price. Drinks are prepared at the bar and brought to table, I enjoyed the mocktail blueberry even though I don't usually enjoy sour/tart, but it made it almost taste like I was still drinking alcohol which was kind of fun. My husband wasn't too happy with his long island but honestly he's a bit picky about how he likes them so I don't think he's the fairest judge for those who aren't as picky. Overall we loved this place and plan on returning here for many more meals!“

“My wife had gotten an ad for Sushi Sam on her social media, and went to check out where they were. We had driven past them a number of times heading to the Southlake town center, and usually they are on the other side of 1709 from where we are coming to head to what we are going to do that we hadn't really considered them before checking out their menu. Service was outstanding, it did feel like they were overstaffed for the amount of customers they had. We decided to go heavy on veggie rolls due to the number of different options they had compared to our normal places. While it was all good, the only thing that stood out was our one meat option that we got for our 8 year old ... a chicken teriyaki roll (cooked.) Prices are a little on the higher side as well when we compare rolls that we can compare to other places we do go to. (I'll give them credit on that, they are in Southlake.) We will likely return at least a couple more times, especially with our 16 year old in tow with us to try that teriyaki roll, and to try items we didn't get a chance to try this time around. Though, they may not be our regular spot for our regular rolls.“

“Had a great experience at Sushi Nomi. My second time here, separated by about a year. I had a sushi roll which was amazing and my daughter had bulgogi which she also said was delicious.The sushi chef was hospitable and brought us a cucumber salad, tempura vegetables and some nigiri on the house throughout our dinner. “Not too bad. Ikura was fresh, which is an important sign, as it goes bad easily. Hamachi was good. Nori was a little stale, ginger pickle was a little too spicy, and salad dressing wasn’t typical (and not quite as good as the usual Japanese dressing). The California roll wasn’t the usual either. “My family has spent the last few years looking for what we believe to be the best sushi near us. We all love Cowtown Sushi because of the consistency and quality of their menu. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It's nice enough for a date, but not overly stuffy. “I ordered here a couple times, so I cannot say anything for the Atmosphere or Service inside the Restaurant. But I got take-out Sushi twice and the Mongolian beef with white rice. The sushi is SO good!! yes, it is pricey but there are still more expensive places around that will take over 20$ for a roll of sushi. I love the New Mexico roll, they have 50 state rolls, but this one is my absolut favorite. The mongolian beef was good as well, just a little oily for some reason. “As always, everything with Axiom (Montgomery Plaza - not Hulen) is impeccable. The majority of the food was fantastic with such flavor, Chef Ramsay would have been ecstatic. But then there was the Crawfish Rice meal and the Pad Thai. We are not sure what was up with those dishes. The Pad Thai had a flavor of almost dry minced meat. The crawfish rice tasted as if the crawfish had been frozen for years and the rice had absorbed the freezer burn flavor. Both meals get a 1/10 while the other meals all get 9/10 or 10/10. “One-person operation but gets the job done and he's great at showing up which is difficult on base sometimes. Usually only 2 entree options but you can combine them. Lately it's been beef Bulgolgi (though somewhat dry) and a jeyuk (pork in a mild-spicy dressing) with kimchi, common hotdog side or other side, clear noodles, rice, and yellow pickled radish. He brings a good atmosphere with his novelty radio playing music and he's very friendly. Bulgolgi might be a bit dry but that is my only mild complaint and you won't leave hungry.“
