“Shout out to Oscar. I went in there and no one acknowledged me for a few minutes. Oscar was helping someone and so was Elizabeth. I’m a manager at a restaurant and I have a 5 foot, 10 foot rule about acknowledging customers. When Oscar was done, he came over and said that Elizabeth would be right with me. I saw he was trying to do a takeout order. When Elizabeth was done she went to Oscar and said something and then he turned around and started helping me with my bowl. Because of Oscar’s customer service I will be returning.“

I've gotten the privilege to live in Japan. Although one thing that haunts my soul is the yearning I have for the food that I left behind when returning home. This place filled my soul with a dinning experience that almost replicates the joys you find in a small little alley deep in the heart of Osaka, or Naha, or Tokyo.
It felt so authentic that when I closed my eyes for a moment I could believe I was back where I do desperately wanted to be.
This place doesn't just serve you food. It transports you back into the feeling of eating in Japan. Which is such a precious experience that is hard to recreate especially in America.
My waitress was wonderful the food left me in tears. I could go on and on about this place. But the bottom line is this place feeds you and your soul. I highly recommend.“

“I had the best experience here, my first time. Had a fabulous cocktail made by my server, rock shrimp was amazing, crab cake salad was another amazing dish, chock full of lump crab. My server was fabulous and the manager was also very attentive and looked after me as I was dining alone. I definitely plan on visiting again! Delicious!“

Perfect size, perfect texture, perfect taste, and the best part is, you use short-grain Japanese rice (most restaurants I've visited don't), which made it all come together perfectly. “A great sushi place: unpretentious, solid, and inexpensive. Don't go if you're looking for something fancy, but a nice meal at a decent price. I love the eel rolls. I had the chicken fried rice for the first time this week: pretty darn good, and lots to eat!“

“I love the food! Sean you have an awesome restaurant. A bit disappointed in the servers. Ive been here atleast 5 times now, the second time I came in to eat, only 1 table was seated, I requested a specific table and was told, “no, in case a bigger party comes in.” One didn’t.
My most recent issue is I called in an order for 4 sushi rolls. Order was repeated back to me and I was told to arrive in 20 minutes. I arrived and 3 server/hosts were giggling and watching tv. I was handed only ONE roll when checking out. I asked where the rest were and the server had to ring them in, while I waited 20 more minutes for the remainder of my food. I will certainly be back, but please review the training of the host girls. 💓“

“Hi guys! I love trying ramen spots in Dallas and I just so happen to stop by after shopping and I was pleasantly pleased! Lola the new manager was so welcoming! I came during lunch but didn’t partake in the lunch special because I was set on ramen which was sooooo good and fried gyozas. I also was served sake to try. “We had an 8:00 PM reservation and arrived about 5 minutes early. After checking in, we waited approximately 45 minutes without being seated. During that time, we briefly stepped outside to move our car. When we returned, the host actually laughed and told us our table had already been called while we were outside. After already waiting 45 minutes with my mother and kids on what was supposed to be a special occasion, we ultimately had to leave without being seated. The evening was completely ruined. What made the situation worse was the host’s attitude. Several guests were visibly frustrated at the front, and instead of helping resolve things, he seemed to escalate the situation rather than assist anyone. Very disappointing experience. Reservations should mean something, especially when families are waiting this long.“

“Its a nice place. They had pot roast that tasted home cooked and so delicious! However it is only served at dinner. I have been been a few times and I think the dinner which ive only had once on a Sunday is more to my liking than the lunch. It is reasonably priced though. I will go back and update of anything changes. I am going to go for dinner and i can actually say if the dinner is more appealing than lunch.“
