“FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! We came here tonight for my kids birthday party. She's quite shy but we still wanted to have the goofy birthday experience that we had growing up (coming to Joe's Crab shack for birthday celebrations has become a tradition in our family). Well, they sure did it! Our server, Jose, was amazing, friendly, checked on us often, made sure we had what we needed, and answered all our questions with a smile. He made us feel super welcome and well taken care of. I wish we could have tipped him more. Then a whole bunch of crew members came out to do the birthday celebration with our kid, who was thoroughly entertained & embarrassed, as we had wanted, haha. And the food was stellar, which has always been the case in the past when we came here so I expected nothing less. Overall this was a fantastic pending to an important birthday and left our whole family feeling wonderful. 10/10, highly recommend, and thank you so much to Jose and the amazing crew of this Joe's Crab Shack! Sidenote: Every time we go here we always get the Great Balls of Fire, the painted crab dessert and the "Shark Nibble" drink, all of which are 100% worth getting every time. The dessert and the drink are a huge crowd pleaser with the kids. They're super cute and fun, very affordably priced, and something we personally haven't seen at any other restaurant.“

“My wife and I both had dinner here Saturday. This was the second time we had been there. We both very much enjoyed our meals there. My wife and the chicken cacciatore and I had the pasta trio. The chicken was fresh and cooked perfectly. My pasta was al dente with great tasty marinara sauce and masorella cheese. We both enjoyed meeting Cynthia as she accommodated me walking into the restaurant. The prices were very reasonable also and the service was great. Our go-to is the Chicken Katsu—it’s absolutely delicious. Whether you dine in or order it to go, the food is always great. The owners are incredibly kind, and the wait staff is awesome too!

“Been a life long fan and have supported Sushi Axiom for years. Today after Bass Hall we decided it was drinks and maybe an appetizer. Arrived 9:20 and were greeted with a “you gotta be kidding me” face and told the kitchen closed at 9. Asked if we could do drinks at the bar, she proceeded to say the bar closed at 9:30. The door clearly says it’s open till 10pm. I own a restaurant myself and if anyone ever did that to my patrons it would be their last day. You’re open until the hours you advertise, or change your hours. Disrespectful and conveniently misleading. I will think twice as there many sushi options for our next sushi visit.“
