“Three of us friends arrived at the restaurant and sat on the patio due to the fact that it was a lovely evening. The wait staff came out and brought us our food and I believe at one point the manager also came out and greeted us. We had some very typical dishes, spaghetti, garlic bread, and my friend had another Italian dish. One friend had wine and two of us had a mixed drink. Our bill came out and it was quite expensive. So we talked about how we did not feel like the price matched the quality or the taste of the food/drinks. I do hope that this local restaurant will make it. I do love supporting a local restaurants. But I was not wowed by the quality or the taste of our Italian food. I hope somebody else has a better experience otherwise. The wait staff was lovely. The environment was lovely and the effort is beautiful.“

“My wife and I chose Bricks and Horses for our anniversary dinner this year. We had never dined here before but have heard great things. Arrival was good, the valet staff was courteous. Hostess greeted us and we were promptly seated. Our server, who was absolutely the best all evening, greeted us by last name and congratulated us on our anniversary. I have never booked an anniversary dinner where it was so kindly acknowledged right from the start.

We chose to split the Caesar salad - which we were told would be large enough to do so. It was so good that we could have easily had a whole order each. My wife ordered the lobster piccata for her main. It looked terrific - and she commented this was the best lobster she had ever had. For my main, I had the 10 oz strip steak with the loaded potatoes gratin. The steak was perfectly cooked - and the bone marrow butter took it to another level. The potatoes were also great - could eat those all day.

For dessert, we both had hot tea - with my wife having the pear and almond tart and I had the gooey butter cake pie. Just like the rest of the meal, this was also fantastic. In addition, for our anniversary, they also provided a small piece of a standard white birthday cake with a piece of chocolate on top stating "Happy Anniversary" - this was the only things slightly odd.

Our meal and experience was so great that I hate to make any negative points, so I will consider this a suggestion to them. In lieu of the "grocery store" piece of birthday cake (which looked and tasted as such - icing very sweet), provide the guest complimentary tea / coffee with their dessert. It would have been nice to know that was coming before, as we would have just passed on it - as we really did not need three desserts. And the look/taste of the "birthday cake" was so not consistent with the rest of the food and atmosphere experience.

Overall, we will definitely be back on a regular basis. We also want to come by sometime just for happy hour at the bar and for a meal on the outdoor patio (which we did walk out and look over before we left - looks great).“

“Just wow. I was pretty skeptical before going. I scheduled a personalized bottle selection with a friend. I showed up a little early. The place is classy, welcoming, and fun. The bartender was the most charismatic man I’ve met in a long time. I’ll definitely be back for cocktails. The build your own bourbon was hosted by Brandon, the guy who distills the whiskey. To say he was knowledgeable on the topic is a great understatement. The whiskey was great and the experience was as worth every penny. Don’t wait another minute. “What a great experience we had here. The bar tenders are excellent and make the best mixed drinks we've ever had. I had a flight and the samples were all very good. The gin was great. The 100 proof rye whiskey is excellent. You must stop in and experience this place..!“

“We were in Ft Worth for my daughter’s bachelorette party Saturday July 13th 2024. We had an email sent to us about large party requirements when we added one xtra person to our reservation we had had for month. The large party requirements were not possible for us we had 12 in our party. We then cancelled our reservation. Decided to stop in to get one of their famous espresso martini. I decided to go to the hostess to ask about our email. She went to get the manager. We told her what happened and that we canceled our reservation also we were so looking forward to this special dinner for my daughter. Emilee the manager listened checked into a few things and explained everything to us. She then told us to be there Saturday at 6:00pm. She wanted to make this right. We arrived at 97 West at 6:00 pm. We were treated with smiles then lead to a private room. The food atmosphere service were out of this world. Emilee and Patricio went out of their way to accommodate and make this night special. Thanks to both for making her night special. Defiantly if your in the area go there. Emilee even gave her a luggage tag with her initials MU. A guy was branding them outside and a congratulations dessert. Definitely went out of their way for us. We will definitely be back if we get to to the stock yards again. ❤️❤️“

“Tori and Zach are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Every time we come into the Kimpton with a big group of parents, they are always ON TOP OF EVERYTHING!! There is absolutely nothing that they would not do for their customers. Going above and beyond to offer drinks, food, etc, whatever it may be, they accommodate. “The Hyatt Place Fort Worth/TCU hotel is a great location for TCU-related stays in Fort Worth. It also has a great bar on top of the roof called Lot 12. It was at Lot 12 that we decided to host a graduation party for my daughter who graduated from TCU this past May.

I just want to say how fantastic the party was. The venue itself is fabulous with great views. It's split between A/C space and outdoor space, both of which are nice to have depending on the weather. The party coordinator Reagan was the best. She made it easy to pull off the party even though we are from out-of-town. Reagan was flexible enough to accommodate our food choices, and the food itself was tasty and enjoyable. The beverage staff behind the bar was top shelf and smoothly kept the beverages flowing. All things considered, the party was a smashing event due in large part to the staff at Lot 12. We couldn't have been happier with the outcome.

You don't necessarily need to throw a party at Lot 12, although if you did it will be a hoot. It's worth paying a visit there for a cocktail or two before you move on to your next stop. Thank you, Lot 12 for making a great memory for our daughter's graduation, and thank you Regan for your help in pulling it off.“

It was an absolutely great experience and the staff was wonderful. Toni took care of us and did a marvelous job, Toni is the very the best ever! What a wonderful person. Our bartender was very helpful as it was our first time in, she also recommended the Blackland Texas Pecan whiskey drink. We don't really drink whiskey but this recommendation had us second guessing our judgement since it was that yummy. Great little hidden spot. Will definitely be coming back.“

“My husband and I just celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary today and decided to try Mesero. We were not disappointed! Vanessa was our server and she was so sweet and funny! Everything was amazing, from the Cascada margaritas and Old Fashion and chilled/dressed tequila shots, to the entrees and that AMAAAZING carrot cake! We had a rounded corner booth all to ourselves. “While I didn't get a chance to actually eat here, I was able to experience the staff. And they are 5 stars. Especially the bartender (i wish I could have caught his name (mind was elsewhere). He was working sunday, dec 1). We were out of town looking for specific food for a friend of ours who we were visiting while she was in hospice. I asked her if there was a specific food she wanted, and she said street tacos. I found this place on Google and went here, but they didn't have street tacos, but he did point me to this little local place about 15 min away, and he was right, great street tacos. We will be forever grateful to him for helping us get her, her last real non hospital meal, while she could still eat. The smile on her face when she took her little bites was able to eat was heartwarming.“
