“We used Blue Mesa as our wedding caterer and it was one of the easiest decisions out of the whole planning experience. Karen was so friendly and accommodating during our tasting. The hardest part was narrowing down our options because it was all so delicious! We chose to do carving stations with the tenderloin and stuffed chicken. At the last minute I added the queso because it’s literally out of this world amazing. People RAVED about the food, said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. They even prepared plates for our vegetarian guests. For the service we got, I feel like the price was incredibly reasonable. They also helped with our cake cutting and did a good job. Their team was a well-oiled machine. Highly highly recommend!“

“Food was very good! I usually don't like ground beef but was eating it with a fork by itself. The queso was good, a little too much cilantro but I have the gene that makes it taste like soap but it was still very good. Octopus tacos were very good and another sashimi type appetizer was as well. Two of my colleagues were with me and they eat seafood, sushi and sashimi all over the world and one just got back from Japan and they commented on how great the food was and one of them doesn't really care for Tex-Mex so that is really saying something. We had to ask for a couple specific pizzas to be brought to our table because they hadn't been offered while others were brought multiple times. 2. They don't inform you of their auto-gratuity policy when checking in for your reservation, nor upon giving you the bill. I would have expected better service when you're predetermining your own tip. 3. We also were asked to vacate our table for the next reservation while we were still actively spending money on after dinner drinks. These are all simple fixes on their end and I hope they can communicate better in the future.“

The fish was so fresh and sushi rice was on point and better than any Japanese restaurant I’ve frequented in Dallas. They spent 4 hours just making their sushi rice.
