Taverna Rossa is a lively restaurant known for its musical atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes, including the incredible pepperoni pin-wheels, the boomboom chicken pizza, and tasty appetizers like deviled eggs, the Warm Taverna Pretzel, and queso. Vinnies cheese bread with marinara is a great small bite. The restaurant is especially recognized for its great pizzas, with the crust being a particular highlight; the pizza has a thick/thin crackerish crust and the toppings are all seasoned. There is a large selection of eclectic pizzas, like the Pink Piggy Pizza, along with a big beer list. The atmosphere is pure western and can be a bit noisy, but the deck offers great seating. The staff is sympathetic and helpful, creating a fun, rustic environment with good value.
