First time visiting here. Nice atmosphere within a nice area itself here in the Carrollton historic area. Came for lunch no wait and the service was very good. Ordered the carne guisada. Not truly authentic but had a decent flavor. The chicken breast was bit dry on the second dish.
We are looking at El Rincon to cater our wedding. Kassandra Nordhoff has been extremely helpful in helping us make a decision. She has a clear eagerness to serve her customers and give them the best possible experience. She matches this with skilled and experienced knowledge if her trade to make the process easy. As for the food, it really sells itself. Some of the best Tex-Mex I’ve ever had!

He previously (last week) had a business lunch here and told me the brisket enchiladas were the best he’d ever had.The chips and salsa were delicious which is a key to excellent Mexican restaurants in my opinion.We didn’t know it was happy hour and were pleasantly surprised when we received the bill.
