I will give BENDT Distilling 5 Stars for what they do. The tour was remarkable. John was personable and delivered the information in a light, sometimes humorous, easy to understand format. The whole place smells amazing and is very clean. BENDT has processes that are slightly different from what I have seen in other tours, but they stand behind their philosophies and the quality of their products speak for themselves. Went for a distillery tour on Friday that I bought on Groupon. Got a drink to take with me on the tour. Jam jar. It was delicious. Tour was very informative and took about an hour with a tasting at the end. The seasonal spirit was a cinnamon rum. I ended up buying 3 different bottles. The cinnamon rum, bendt 5 and a bottle of their old fashion. Before buying them I talked to the cashier she was very helpful. I’m new to drinking neat whiskey and was met here with knowledgeable and patient staff and bartenders!I highly recommend the whiskey flight.If I ever make it back out to Lewisville I’ll certainly stop in for a tour. My only regret is not bringing a checked bag because their No. 5 is one of my favorite whiskeys I’ve had so far
