“We had a fantastic experience on this distillery tour! The tour was extremely well done, engaging, and informative without ever feeling overwhelming. The guide clearly know the craft and did a great job explaining the distilling process, the history behind the spirits, and what makes their products unique.

The samples were generous and delicious, giving us the opportunity to taste a variety of offerings and appreciate the nuances of each one. Whether you’re a whiskey enthusiast or just curious about the distilling process, this tour is well worth your time. “I got the lunch special of 1 meat and 1 side as well as the lemon cake dessert. The brisket was very good in my opinion, perfect balance of fat and lean meat; loved the sauce that was on the side, it was very peppery but balanced with a slight sweetness. Comes with a side of toast and pickles and pickles onions that were also very delicious and good balance. The Mac and cheese was a semi disappointment due to it being spiral noodles but the cheese sauce and breadcrumbs really bring it back to being tasty. Lastly, the dessert, smoked lemon cake. It was hard to judge it, they forgot the berries so it was good but not quite up to par, the cake portion did not taste smoky, was very dense but still moist. Comes with this lemon drizzle/curd sauce that was very good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere and food, but if you're looking for solid BBQ I would give this place a pass and maybe go to hard 8, Hutchinsons or even maybe Loro if you're looking for something more modern.“

“WOW!! Whiskey & Smoke @ the River Walk, invariably and substantively, transcends. Seems irrespective of where we now travel and dine, we find ourselves craving this fabulous food! Sinfully sublime melt in your mouth steaks - and that open flame seasoning, magic. Even the comfort food sides ring decadently delicious. Tack on superb service and we are delightfully hooked. It's become a habit that compels us to return, time and again. How handy that W&S is right here in the heart of Flower Mound. Extraordinary! 🤩“
