“First time visit for my wife and I over lunch. Fantastic! My wife got the Nashville Chicken Sandwich combo with fries. I got wings with House Sauce and fries and we split an order of pickle chips. Wife loved the sandwich. Wings were well above average meat amount per wing and tasty. My wife is a pickle chip connoisseur and these were hands down her favorite of ALL TIME. Thicker chips than most places too. Most pickle chips end up soggy through the batter and fry process. These were the rare ones that stayed crisp and full of batter through the meal. Seasoning on fries was not to my taste but my wife loved them and took my extras. I'll just ask for plain next time as they otherwise were very thick crinkle fries and looked good. Highly recommend. Will tell our adult kids to try as they love chicken and the Mac and cheese on the menu are a family "next try" item. Met owner husband wife who were very friendly and patient with our questions as first time customers. In my after work drive home "honey do you want me to pick up dinner" list.“

“I’m familiar with this place from one of their previous locations in Nashville well over 10 years ago, i was excited to see it here in DFW, it had been over 10 years since i got to taste it again, and it didn’t disappoint. It tasted exactly like I remembered from Nashville, The chicken is uniquely fried, blended with a great mix of spices for great flavors and a little heat. This is a good definition of southern comfort food. Their sweet tea, and Cole slaw are great! Worth a visit, it was a great mom and pop atmosphere, and the service is very friendly.“

“My discrepancy is not their fault, but about a week after Biden took office, gas prices went up, and this caused the prices of their chicken to go up a lot. Also, all of the great deals they used to have stopped. Fortunately, the quality of the food did not change, and this is what forces me to still buy the food. Maybe one day, when gas prices decrease, the cost of chicken will too. They are not the only ones who did this to their customers. Oh well.“

My go-to has been the BLT on toasted wheat with a scoop of the kicking kay lynne and a side of soup or Mac and cheese.We also grabbed the pre-packed chicken salad as meal prep through the week as well and tried other flavors that, of course, were delicious.Go and try them out, you won't regret it.“

“I enjoyed eating the chicken and corn nuggets. My 2 year old grandson loves those corn nuggets. My score is a 4 instead of 5 on the food is based on the Mac & cheese. The noodles are not cooked to completely done. They were a bit hard & chewy. The cheese was to watery and runny for me and my grandson didn't like it. In fairness, it was my first time trying the Mac & cheese. Others may enjoy it! Overall, Lisa's fried chicken is my favorite chicken in Fort Worth. “I came all the way from Oklahoma City and to get some chicken I order my food and got on the highway and seen that my Pepper was not in the bag . So I went back and Shayna. Which was the manager on duty was very Amazing and sweet!!! The chicken was a 10, the roll was a 10/ the drink was 10!!! The pepper was a 10!!! The workers all had smile on they face and I feel like i was in heaven when I walk in!!!! 10 out of 10 will recommend!!!! “One of the great chicken chains in Ft Worth. If you're looking for some great tasting chicken or catfish at unbelievable prices this is the place. They also have one of the most complete beverage offerings around. You name it they've got it. There usually aren't any tables, strictly takeout, and the size of the chicken pieces are what I call normal, not like the enormous ones at other chains, but you can't bet the price, taste or quantity at Lisa's. I always stop by for lunch if I'm in the neighborhood.“

“I went there for the first time because of the reviews. I ordered shrimp fried rice, a leg, wing and combo meal, and a 3 piece chicken tender meal. I must say food was just as delicious as the reviews said. However, they don’t get 5 stars because they did not include my cheesecake. I got that as a treat because I hardly get desserts, only to get home and it was not in the bag. Plus, why must I pay for something and not get it? Please check your food before you leave.“
“The combo fried rice and egg rolls are so good! They give you so much, and I usually share it with my kids. Back in the day they also sold hamburger and fry combos, they should bring that back. The only thing I don’t like is you can’t go in anymore, so people order in the drive thru and it takes so long. I like to call my order in and then pick it up, but oftentimes no one picks up the phone.“

An earlier review complained about the outside. As long as the food is on point, I don't care if it looks bad. It's not the best area or neighborhood so. “Ordered pollo endiablado and half a pound of carne asada. Food was very flavorful, tortillas were very fresh and not hard. They give you half an onion with your dish which I love because I usually end up ordering extra grilled onion. But that was more than enough to fill me up! The charro beans were me favorite side. Full of flavor that included sausage, jalapeños and beans. Will definitely be coming back.“
