The chicken was OMG delicious! The crunch, the juiciness....amazing!!! The Mac and cheese was dang near perfect! The beans were flavorful and the fried green tomatoes were delicious!!!! 9/10 easy!!! We will be back!
I’m familiar with this place from one of their previous locations in Nashville well over 10 years ago, i was excited to see it here in DFW, it had been over 10 years since i got to taste it again, and it didn’t disappoint. It tasted exactly like I remembered from Nashville, The chicken is uniquely fried, blended with a great mix of spices for great flavors and a little heat. we ordered to go, seemed to be cooked fresh. I think grease in fryer was on its last leg. didn't have a clean taste. Still better then most. little pricey would be worth it, if they used a little larger size bird.
