Tho this time the meat was a bit to salty THIS time usually it is consistent with the flavor so that's why I gave them a 4 star in food I would have preferred to do a 4.5. Atmosphere is not bad very spacious and they don't cram the tables in like someplace so it's quite nice inside. Also another note brought Mt baby and I needed to changer her and realized that they don't have a charging table. I lucy have a bag that can change into one so I was fortunate enough for that.“
“First time visit for my wife and I over lunch. Fantastic! My wife got the Nashville Chicken Sandwich combo with fries. I got wings with House Sauce and fries and we split an order of pickle chips. Wife loved the sandwich. Wings were well above average meat amount per wing and tasty. My wife is a pickle chip connoisseur and these were hands down her favorite of ALL TIME. Thicker chips than most places too. Most pickle chips end up soggy through the batter and fry process. These were the rare ones that stayed crisp and full of batter through the meal. Seasoning on fries was not to my taste but my wife loved them and took my extras. I'll just ask for plain next time as they otherwise were very thick crinkle fries and looked good. Highly recommend. Will tell our adult kids to try as they love chicken and the Mac and cheese on the menu are a family "next try" item. Met owner husband wife who were very friendly and patient with our questions as first time customers. In my after work drive home "honey do you want me to pick up dinner" list.“

I've never been to a Pollo Regio before and after we came here one time I couldn't belive what I had been missing out on. The Half Chicken is out of this world its so good, after one trip it became the benchmark for chicken I get from anywhere I go. It's always 'this chicken is good, but it's not as good as Pollo Regio.' I am grateful to Emma and Angie because they make it a wonderful experience when we come by, and we have come by 3 or 4 times a week when we are working in town because the food is that good and the atmosphere is so inviting. “I’m familiar with this place from one of their previous locations in Nashville well over 10 years ago, i was excited to see it here in DFW, it had been over 10 years since i got to taste it again, and it didn’t disappoint. It tasted exactly like I remembered from Nashville, The chicken is uniquely fried, blended with a great mix of spices for great flavors and a little heat. This is a good definition of southern comfort food. Their sweet tea, and Cole slaw are great! Worth a visit, it was a great mom and pop atmosphere, and the service is very friendly.“

“My discrepancy is not their fault, but about a week after Biden took office, gas prices went up, and this caused the prices of their chicken to go up a lot. Also, all of the great deals they used to have stopped. Fortunately, the quality of the food did not change, and this is what forces me to still buy the food. “We have been here two times. The first time was great. Excellent, fast service, great food. We had chicken tacos and mashed potatoes. Clean dining area. The second visit was an unpleasant disaster. Apparently, there was a dinner rush prior to our arrival. All but one person was in the back taking a break. The girl at the counter was nice and helpful. Once we ordered, our experience went downhill. We waited 15 minutes for our food. Nobody else was waiting on an order. There were no small drink lids. We had to ask at the counter for them. All of the tables were dirty. We had to get someone to come clean a table for us. Then it was too wet. We had to get napkins to dry it off so we could sit down. The floor had trash all over it. The trash receptacles were overflowing. The chicken in our tacos was cold. We brought it back for hot chicken. That took another 15 minutes. With nobody else ordering ahead of us, it took 30 minutes to get a hot meal and a clean place to eat. I love the food. I have a sensitive stomach, and El Pollo Loco is one of the very few fast food places that doesn't leave me ill. I'll be back for that reason. Hopefully, this one negative experience will be a one-time thing.“

“Pollo Regio is conveniently located on the exterior of the Gran Plaza. We dined in on Thursday night with no wait and quick service. The cashier and floor food deliverer were very hospitable. The food was delicious and the kids left very little to no leftovers.The only thing I would critical about would be there were some tables dirty in the dine in area.We ordered the caldo de pollo, barbacoa taco, and the kids ate half a chicken. All very healthy portions and left us very FULL.We usually have it delivered but wanted the experience of getting all the toppings from the salsa bar.“
