Williams Fried Chicken #36 is a popular spot known for its great food and friendly service. Customers praise the chicken, with some mentioning that it is often fresh and tasty. The fish and gizzards are also enjoyed, and the mashed potatoes receive positive comments. The staff at this location, especially certain employees like Collier and Martha, are noted for going above and beyond to provide excellent service. Collier, in particular, is recognized for his effort to make the food extra crispy and to meet specific requests, earning praise for being a stellar employee. Customers also appreciate the helpfulness and kindness of the lady serving, making each visit a pleasant experience. However, some reviews mention slow service and long wait times, with one customer waiting almost 30 minutes despite there being only a few people inside. There was also a complaint about incorrect billing and slower service from a staff member with a slight attitude. Overall, the restaurant is favored for its good food and friendly staff, though improvements in customer service could make the experience even better.
