Panther City BBQ continues to be one of the most criminally overlooked spots in the Texas BBQ scene. Everything we had was phenomenal. The brisket was perfectly smoked with a beautiful bark and melt-in-your-mouth texture, the pork belly burnt ends were ridiculous, and the jalapeño mac & cheese and street corn were just as memorable as the meat.
The Tex-Mex twist they bring to barbecue is awesome too; the brisket tacos and quesabirria style tacos were unreal.

Today was my first day of getting to go and try the food. I’ve been wanting to visit for quite some time so my husband and I went on a lunch date. We got the tacos, the loaded potato, the elotes, and the jalapeño poppers. Everything on the menu looked amazing so we had to try a little bit of each. Next time I will be getting the sandwich because the tacos were really dry. Everything else was amazing.
