I just tried Johnny Chicken and Waffles for the first time on a brunch date, and I cannot rave enough about this place! We ordered the chicken and waffles, French toast, and the AMAZING mac and cheese—everything was absolutely delicious! Well DAMNNNN! This place is delicious! We came for Valentine'Day a few weeks ago and came back with our kids. Don't sleep on the biscuits. We ordered the biscuits, they come in 3 different flavors topped with fruit compote and jome made whipped cream. The Nashville hot chicken tenders and waffle combo are the best in all of DFW. Johnnys Chicken and Waffles in Fort Worth, TX offers a phenomenal vibe and atmosphere. The food is good, with the chicken and waffles being delicious and the shrimp and grits also good. The difference in the food did not go unnoticed, but management did everything possible to make up for it. Service varies; Brandon provides top notch service, Ashley is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and upcoming karaoke nights and open mic events, and Kia offers top of the line customer service. Dimera provides exceptional, quick, and efficient service with clear communication. Some service can be meh, with a server seeming irritated by refill requests and wrong orders. The Dallas location is preferred for service, but the Fort Worth vibe is winning.
