This was my first visit to this location & because of Mark’s great customer service, I will make this a weekly stop on my lunch breaks!“

“Love this place! The breakfast burritos are excellent. Homemade tortilla, personally, I get sausage potatoe egg and cheese with the house made spicy green sauce. Not spicy, imo, but very flavorful. I love pairing it with an orange juice or zero sugar DP. Hits the spot. The ladies cooking are very nice and work so hard, the management are very cool and chill. Definitely a must when working in the area.“

I wanted to take a minute to recognize Melissa for the excellent service I received today at the Jason’s Deli drive-thru in Saginaw.
I was ordering my husband’s sandwich and could not remember the actual name of it — I even guessed a name that apparently wasn’t anywhere close — but Melissa immediately knew what I was talking about. That alone impressed me because it was obvious she really knows the menu. She also helped me decide between a cup or bowl of the gumbo, which I appreciated.
When I pulled around to the window, Melissa greeted me with a big smile and such a warm, friendly personality. She was professional, upbeat, and genuinely pleasant from beginning to end. Unfortunately, that kind of customer service can be hard to find these days, especially in fast food and restaurant drive-thrus, so when someone goes above and beyond, I think they deserve to be recognized.
When she brought me my order, everything was there, fresh, and she had included the utensils and napkins without me having to ask. That may sound like such a small thing, but I notice details like that. I cannot tell you how many times I have gone through a drive-thru and had to ask for napkins, which has never made sense to me. Melissa simply seemed to have the common sense and attention to detail to make sure we had everything we needed before handing over the order.
My husband and I were so excited when this Jason’s Deli opened because we love eating here, and it has become one of our favorite places in Saginaw. We come here pretty often, but out of all the times we have visited, I have never had an employee make such a positive impression that I felt the need to go home and write a review.
Yes, Melissa was doing the job she was hired to do, but there is a big difference between simply doing your job and doing it with genuine kindness, professionalism, personality, and pride. She made a normal drive-thru visit stand out, and that says a lot.
If I knew Melissa was working the drive-thru, I would honestly choose the drive-thru over going inside because I would know I was going to receive great service.
