“I want to let the upper Management know that the Cashier Michelle on 1/12/2024 at night was the absolute professional and wonderful cashier I have ever seen in the grocery business. I was concerned about the store building looking like a 1980s store but after Michelle customer service my wife and have decided that this is our new primary grocery store. Thanks Michelle for your warmth and professionalism.“
“The Thursday Taco Salad is heavenly, life changing and satisfying! Now if we can get the world to switch our calendars to two Thursdays per week life would be perfect! I apologize for a long review but Yelp insist on me having a longer comment.“
“We've been eating @ Cindi's since I was a child. The mazo ball and kreplach soups are classic. They have a fancy new espresso machine so the coffees are excellent as well. If you like a chewy bagel they have some of the best in town.“
“Everyone 'in the know', knows about Deli News. It's a classic! Best bagels, breakfasts, deli platters, whitefish spread, chopped liver, etc. In Dallas. It has been here forever, same amazing team, same delicious food, a place we can always count on. Don't be surprised if there is a wait.“
“BEST DELI AROUND!! I have lunch here at least once a week. Joe is a hoot and the nicest man! Every time I walk in, they ask if I want the usual. It’s nice to feel welcome and remembered. They have their meats flown in from New Jersey and only use fresh baked bread.I will never again be able to eat at a chain sandwich shop after experiencing Jersey Joes!“
“Came here about a week ago with my sisters and it was absolutely delicious! The lady at the restaurant was very sweet, she offered great recommendations, gave us free bubble tea samples, and cooked some delicious sandwiches. I got the Yummy BIP Chicken sandwich and it was hot, fresh, and super yummy! Had a masala taste to it that was perfect, and the grilled onion and jalapeños were so good with the chicken. My sisters got the Yummy Reuben and NY Chop cheese, also very tasty. The fries were crispy and flavorful too. At the end of our meal we got some honeydew bubble tea samples and bought a cup of it from Bubbleology section of the store. Overall great experience, totally recommend for a delicious and filling meal! Everything's halal as well!“
“I was online searching for pastrami deli near me..I came across Main Street and took a look..I'm from Chicago and we have the best deli in the country, Manny's. I've been to Cindy's and Jason's, but they were missing something..TASTE!!!..Main Street hit all the marks for me plus the price was right..I devoured the sandwiches when I got home.. This is my new pastrami go to place.“
“Deli News is as close to being in Brooklyn and Manhattan as it gets here in the metroplex. Tried so many other places in the past but none could achieve what Deli News has done. Went there last week for the first time. It was so good, I came back today to try the king of NY sammies -- the Reuben. The sandwiches are reminiscent of those wonderful NY Jewish delis every neighborhood had with fresh, tasty stacks of cold cuts, toppings and cradled with rye bread that's the staple of any true NY deli sandwich. These sammies are good.I've had the roast beef with swiss on rye -- absolutely delish. The Reuben, oh that Reuben. It was spectacular with a generous mound of corned beef and sauerkraut. That juicy meat, the tartness of the sauerkraut and that distinct flavor of the rye bread brought me back in time. Only thing I wish they did with the Reuben is put the dressing on the sandwich instead of ion the side n a container to spread yourself. To me, it's no longer a sandwich at that point, it's a DIY project. You should always be able to grab any sammie at the counter and eat it on the go. Dressing is killer too, by the way - good job on the dressing, guys. Can't leave out the fact that in typical NY fashion, they give you a side of pickles with that genuine NY Jewish deli taste. Only thing missing was someone in the background saying, "How you doin'?" If you've never had a NY deli pickle, you'll experience it here. One thing I loved but never really had in a NY deli is Deli News' onion rings. I think this is one thing for sure that's a signature thing I'll always associate with Deli News. Their onion rings are incredible. The fries? They're good but, fuggetaboutit. Trust me. The rings, get the rings. The matzo ball soup is terrific, too. Broth has a wonderful flavor that would make my buddies' moms jealous. They also have a great selection of deserts. For those of you from NY, they have the BLACK AND WHITE COOKIES. Once more, they have the BLACK AND WHITE COOKIES guys. Danishes are to die for, too. Haven't tried the cheesecake and I'll do that next time.Staff was incredibly friendly, which actually isn't typical of a NY deli but, nevertheless, I certainly appreciated it. If the people behind the counter were yelling across orders and bantering with each other, I'd believe I was teleported to one of the boroughs of NY. Just sayin'.If you enjoy a good sammie, try out Deli News. And if you're like me and miss NY delis, don't waste your time settling for less. Check them out. You'll see what I mean. I'll stop here. Made myself hungry writing this review and have to go eat now.“
“All I have to say is the 3 Layer Club with a little mustard may be the perfect sandwich! Add in the fact that Khamal and his crew know what you order before you order he make sure your in and out in a hurry! Great manners! Amazing Food! Perfect People!“
“A bit pricey, but it seems good food cost more nowdays. Alas I guess all things must pass. Yes they are gone. Anyone who has missed this place lost out on a jewel. Maybe another can fill the opening left in the market place by them closing. Just thanks for all the holidays you helped me serve old world foods; a fond memory will be of you, and the family. Thanks GOD BLESS YOU ALL“
“Good food. Good ham. Be prepared to deal with casually rude employees who appear so beat down by their jobs it doesn't matter how kind and friendly you are to them, it won't penetrate their veneer of apathy and contempt for their participation in your transaction.“
“We received an 8 pound ham, 3 pound turkey breast, all the sides and desserts to go with it as a gift after a death in the family. Delivery was on time and the food was superb. My kids don't even like turkey and ate it up!! The chocolate cake is the best you will put in your mouth. Delish!!! Highly reccomend.“
“We have visited a few HBH locations in the DFW area and NONE compare to the quality and outstanding service than the one in Plano (off of Preston Road).Everyone was friendly, helpful and encouraged us all to try new items; including the broccoli casserole and sliders!Whenever we come to a HBH, no matter where we are in Dallas, we’ll be sure to come to this location and tell others as well. The line may be long on occasions, but well worth the wait. Please go find out for yourself. The Manager is very helpful and the experience is well worth it.“
