“Love the Chat. Great local bar with inexpensive drinks, a pool table, and a great sound system with a jukebox. The staff are super cool. They don't serve food, but my wife and I often bring our own from one of the many restaurants in walking distance. Dog friendly. Smoking section outside with tables.“
“Delivered an Amazon package here along my route and asked the manager whats good, and she said fish tacos and brisket tacos, brisket is smoked in house. Me personally, I never had brisket tacos, so I thought I would try it out.The food is better than I thought, and the manager was super nice. She made sure my order came out first, as I had a busy day in front of me.I'm not used to a bar/lounge atmosphere, so I don't really know how to rate that. I will say that you have to get past the smell of cigarettes if you want to dine in. Otherwise, I would just be ordering pickup. I would NOT recommend bringing children in the restaurant.“
“I love going to A Great Notion for karaoke. This is a real Texas dive bar. Neon signs all around the bar and sports on their big screen TVs, plus lots of seating and room for dancing. They also have one pool table and an area for darts. The drinks are cheap and there is a big open free parking lot in front. Karaoke is always fun and a mixed age crowd so lots of variety in what people sing. Check it out!“
“We have a great time here. Best bowl of beans around. We usually bring a big crowd in with us. It would be awesome if the owners would splurge on new chairs. The chairs have been VERY VERY VERY used. Definitely got your money worth on those. Great place to hang out with friends. Owners are very cool and down to earth kinda people!“

“Can't believe I've driven past this place for over 40 years and never stopped in...granted half my life I wasn't old enough to enter The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The Bartender told us the history of the place. It is definitely a "Cheers" type place with well known regulars but in no way was it Clicky or felt unwanted by any of the other patrons. The prices were great for name brand booze...still a place where smoking is allowed, but wasn't bad at all. As a non smoker that was a surprise but I didn't smell like smoke when I left ..so that's a bonus. We will definitely be back soon“
“Cute little hole in the wall where you can chill with friends, play pool, listen to live bands some nights, karaoke on others. The bartender, Amanda is super awesome and even has some of her own signature drinks. Definitely recommend if you aren’t into the busy bar scene but still like to go somewhere to have a drink.“
