Great place! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cool dive bar atmosphere!!
Great dive bar
I live close. I go to the showdown 2 or 3 times a week. Great local crowd. Old-school. Perfect during weekdays. Kids from TCU dominate weekend knights!

Showdown is a welcoming neighborhood saloon suitable for all ages, with friendly regulars and attentive staff. The atmosphere is lively, with a steady roar inside and a quieter back patio. The bar features a couple of pool tables and is priced reasonably. The bar serves great drinks, including an exceptional bloody Mary, making it a spot worth visiting and potentially becoming a regular. Customers describe Showdown as an old dive bar, great for cold drinks and friendly conversation, with a simple, no-frills atmosphere. The servers are friendly, and the prices are inexpensive, with a decent selection of mainstream liquors and a good tap selection. While the bathroom may not be the most appealing, the pool tables and easy parking make Showdown a popular spot for regulars.
