“Omgggg!!! This was my first time trying this place and I will definitely be back!! Everything was soooo good! The meat has a unique smoky flavor and very tender, the sides are on point and what’s in the sauce?! Wow!! Not to mention the banana pudding!! addicting!“
“Not my usual place but definitely my type of food. The yams were great, chicken smothered was a good portion, and the greens were salty. I didn't like the cornbread that much but overall the food was good. I also got kool-aid and it was great. I ordered to go and the food was out in less than 15 minutes.“
“I like was surprised by how good the food is here.We had rosemary chicken and it was so scrumptious, it just fell right off the bone. We also tried chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and the cornbread —sweeeet!The rice was okay, but not our favorite.But guys, the sweet potatoes? Lord have mercy. These are divine.The dining room is under construction, so there’s no way to eat there now, but I’m sure the atmosphere will be lovely when they’re done. We walked in an ordered from a table in the front, and they brought it out to our car 15 minutes later.“
“Not sure what's going on with the hours of operation but, the website is showing business is open. Drove all the way from Saginaw, TX. Pulled in the VACANT parking lot just to see a small hand written note stating business will be closed until January 23rd. I visited the restaurant just before Christmas and the hostess told me and other customers they would be back in full operation on January 16th. Keep in mind if you decide to eat here and you don't have any issues burning your gas driving, you may want to call ahead and that's only if they answer the phone. Food quality is very good. I will give them that.Parking: Parking lot is only big enough for 3-4 cars max . very dangerous parking out on the curbside.“
“On my fourth visit to The Sausage Shop, my experience was the same as the previous visits.Service was fast, staff was professional & courteous and food was great. I always purchase the sausage plate (obviously) which has been fantastic.I planning on visiting again!“
“Went with a co-worker for lunch and was extremely surprised by the portion sizes and the variety of items offered for great prices. The banana pudding was hefty and tasty. The Kool aid was perfect and that Pastors Salad was 2 meals for me. The ladies were very pleasant at both counters. Definitely going back! My only complaint is the limited parking. We were blocked in by someone double parked.Parking: Limited spaces. Hard to get out once you get in during peak hours.“
“Came in today 3-21-2024 and ordered the baked potato. It came with tender seasoning chicken chunks, shrimp with alfredo sauce, broccoli, cheese butter, sour cream???? I substituted the chicken for steak and oh my goodness, my taste buds and stomach had a party within because everything was absolutely delicious?not to mention the fresh huge potato that this place serves with all fresh ingredients was outstanding?????Each worker that I came into contact with was absolutely friendly and professional. This place has my business and my hard earned money won’t go to waste. FYI, what I ordered could feed two greedy adults and you wouldn’t feel guilty about fighting over the last shrimp because they were that good.??
