I want to give a special shout-out to Tangela Jackson who provided exceptional service. She was incredibly polite and even went the extra mile by giving me an extra leg with my two-piece order. Not only was the food hot and crispy, but it also had that homemade taste that made it truly special. I've been to Halls Honey Fried Chicken three days in a row because their food is just that good! I highly recommend giving them a try. For the outstanding service and delicious food, I believe they truly deserve five stars. I will definitely be coming back for more. “The food is delicious, but when it comes to paying for your food they bring this little machine to your table to payout mine you they already put the gratuity on your bill, even if there is 2 or more. The waiter or waitress have a nerve to ask for additional tips, but you don’t know that they already charge you gratuity and asking for more money. I don’t think this is fair and right to do. Me and my husband came for our anniversary we enjoyed everything, but telling us that you have to share your tips with others and asking for more money is very wrong. Not good for business 🤦🏼‍♀️“

“I came to Daq & Mag Daiquiri’s for lunch earlier this week for the first time and I must say that I am glad to have another great soul food establishment in this area! I was a little disappointed that they were out of the ox tails and beef tips by the time I got there around 2 pm but I had the smothered chicken, candied yams and collard greens, and I forgot all about wanting anything else after the 1st bite! That plate was heaven sent, the chicken literally fell off the bone and melted in my mouth!! And with the yams, I couldn’t hardly stop eating it even in the car on the way home. Add the hot water cornbread and OMG! The chicken was half way gone before I even realized there was a bed of rice underneath it! Excellent meal… will definitely come back the next time I’m in Texas“
