“I came to Daq & Mag Daiquiri’s for lunch earlier this week for the first time and I must say that I am glad to have another great soul food establishment in this area! I was a little disappointed that they were out of the ox tails and beef tips by the time I got there around 2 pm but I had the smothered chicken, candied yams and collard greens, and I forgot all about wanting anything else after the 1st bite! That plate was heaven sent, the chicken literally fell off the bone and melted in my mouth!! And with the yams, I couldn’t hardly stop eating it even in the car on the way home. Add the hot water cornbread and OMG! The chicken was half way gone before I even realized there was a bed of rice underneath it! Excellent meal… will definitely come back the next time I’m in Texas“

I want to give a special shout-out to Tangela Jackson who provided exceptional service. She was incredibly polite and even went the extra mile by giving me an extra leg with my two-piece order. Not only was the food hot and crispy, but it also had that homemade taste that made it truly special. I've been to Halls Honey Fried Chicken three days in a row because their food is just that good! I highly recommend giving them a try. For the outstanding service and delicious food, I believe they truly deserve five stars. I will definitely be coming back for more. “No complaints other than the “Ms. Linda Seasoning” is not the same seasoning used at the restaurant. I paid $10 for it, and it’s not even the same color as the seasoning they use on the food there. It tastes more like powder than actual seasoning.“

“The wings are absolutely amazing! Service was excellent as well. There really is no atmosphere other than people standing around waiting for their food. There are no tables & chairs, so no dining in. There's a small ledge by the windows for people to sit on if they want. But the space itself could use a really good deep cleaning. However, it didn't deter me from going back the very next day for more. That chicken is so damn good it's ridiculous! I wasn't aware there were other items on the menu. My husband has only ever gotten me wings. But I plan to try everything because those wings have me in a damn chokehold! Great job, Henderson!
Update... Not a fan of the chicken tenders. They were large & dry. But them wings hit err time!“

“Hall's Chicken is just as much a staple in Dallas as Rudy's.... Going by here took me all the way back to 2001 with the Footaction crew and sending up orders.... So with this feeling of nostalgia I decided to see if Hall's had endured the test of time.... I was greeted by the most knowledgeable and professional Tracie who seemed like a Hall's Chicken Oracle the way she knew her numbers and prices; very impressive. And their Supervisor, Cristal had the most bubbly personality and both had warm, inviting smiles to go with the flair they had going. I had me a 2 piece white and my God the smell was Heavenly. Like the kid opening his present for the Red Rider BB gun, after receiving my food I expeditiously parked and ate my food. It's rare you have a chicken place where even the breast was juicy.... Everything hit its mark, followed by a Sprite. Thank you Hall's for the trip down memory lane and the reassurance that y'all will always be the same....“

“I’m a very picky eater , my mother and wife will attest to that, but I had the best fish and meatloaf at this beautiful place. Down home soulful eating my wife says all the time , you don’t know what you missing. As a Dj I travel and do a lot of parties and almost always get offered food to go ! Seldom do I eat it but Chef thanks keep the great meals coming !
