“This was a really interesting restaurant for us. We are from Las Vegas and here for a hockey tournament. I just love good food and I try not to eat at chain restaurants when I’m traveling. I love to try the local fare. This is perhaps the best collard greens I’ve ever had my daughter and I both got chicken and waffles. I got the orange chicken and she got the regular. Both were great. The fried chicken is perfect. it was a pricey meal for two people. But I still gave a big tip because the food was delicious. The portion sizes were excellent as well! The piña colada bread, pudding, taste exactly like a piña colada.

“We were looking for soul food in the area, and this, more than did the trick? The food presentation on their line had our mouths watering! I've never eaten pig's feet, but now I'm more than willing! The mac was a bit loose but still tasty. The portions were healthy, without coming out of the box? The smothered pork chops were more like pork steaks. They were bigger than chops and still tasty, but not pork chops. The cabbage was al dente, perfect! For dessert, we had the red velvet cake, which was huge and delicious! I liked the selection of daiquiris. I had a Pina Colada with Mango. ?? If you haven't been, you need to give it a try.“

“This place has some great food and Archie is a great server. It’s too bad this is the only location in Texas now. I got the slow roasted pot roast with loaded mash potatoes and green beans. You’re also served rolls and cornbread. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection.“

“SO good, and so reasonably priced. Attractive, clean and local to boot. What could be better! The chicken fried chicken is tender and flavorful, the green beans perfectly seasoned, and the cilantro lime rice just perfect. I happened to have a two-hour break in my day and I'm so glad I stopped here for lunch!“
