Wow did we luck out finding this gem of a place! From atmosphere, to service, to food…it’s all great! What a fun location as well tucked inside an RV park!
We ordered the loaded grande nachos, the brisket sliders with Mac and cheese, and the queso and chips. We also got a side of their in house Cole slaw and sweet/spicy pickles. Let me tell you I will be dreaming about those pickles! Who just thinks to put pineapple in with pickles? This place! And it works.

Husband and I were craving someplace new so naturally we decided on BBQ. Lo and behold on our journey home, there was Dead End Trading Post. We were welcomed in and told to sit wherever we’d like. Unfortunately, the lovely dark haired woman that was serving us (I didn’t catch her name) informed us that they only serve tavern style pizza on Wednesday’s to get their smokers ready for the busy weekend to follow. Checked this place out last night for our eating through the alphabet dinner series and it was fantastic! So glad we found this hidden mom n pop shop! I’ll be visiting more often!
Many people in our group drove over an hour to be there and it was well worth our trips! Our server Misty was a gem of a human, the food was fantastic, portions were great, pricing was fair.
