“My husband and I had the island bourbon chicken on a stick and island veggie fried rice from their booth at Arts For All this evening. We were extremely satisfied with both dishes! The chicken was perfectly cooked and the rice had good flavor. Definitely recommend this business.”

“Thalapakktu biriyani was too good. Even the goat meat inside it was perfect. Some restaurants just put rubbery meat but not here. I like this style of biriyani a lot and had to go all the way to Irving or Plano to get this but now its in Roanoke. Super happy. We tried Chicken fry biriyani too and it was good. Even the salna and yogurt mix was good. I really wish they keep up their standards like this. Idli can be better but it had good variety of chutneys to compensate.

Update: I tried Palak Paneer with Butter naan and it was great. They are keeping up with food quality. I told it is for kid and my kid loved too it without complaining about it being too spicy. She wanted more.”

“Today I finally tried Layne’s, it was wonderful. The chicken is so much better than Canes or Slim Chickens. This is the best chicken I’ve had besides making homemade tenders, which is exactly what it reminded me of. The chicken was tender and the crust/batter is crispy. “For the first time, I ate there. Why? Because My Cowgirl has ate there many times and enjoyed the food. OK, I went because of her. But, I don’t eat anything that comes out of the water, so a little concern is there. WOW! What a menu, huge choice of non - seafood items ( a rarity). Everything I ordered was top notch and delicious. My Cowgirl got the Seafood Platter and enjoyed every bite. So, good food, very good service and an excellent atmosphere. “This was our first time here Friday night and my husband and I will definitely be returning. Great quality food especially their specialty pizzas. Hot honey pizza pie is amazing! Also ordered a supreme, which is nothing extraordinary, but it all seemed fresh and great quality ingredients. There dough and sauce. Chefs kiss. 😚 It’s nice to see people having fun at work and still getting their job done. Great atmosphere maybe not necessarily the most romantic but a good spot to grab a bite to eat, a beer and chat with friends. Very home town vibes. I believe our server’s name was Dylan, younger gentlemen, moving and groovin and getting the job done. He did a great job.”

“I've been going to this location for years and they always have friendly staff and the restaurant is clean. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program because you can get free food or discounts, and often too.”

“I have been here several times and there focus on fresh is beyond the pale. I mean it's right there behind the glass and they refuse to sell it to me if it's more than an hour old. It drives me crazy because I just want to eat. Today the told me they weren't selling pretzel bites again right behind the glass. I don't know if I want to keep spending my money here and the is an ice cream shop and cookie shop in the same place. I have had issues which the manager and owner have apologized for but still it's ridiculous just take care of the customer. Today may be the last time I get food here. They do not have fountain drinks either so eating in the store is out of the question. Edit: It has gotten a lot better still stressing fresh but being more reasonable. So I will keep going.”

“Eat at this location nearly every other Friday, and it’s usually very fast, friendly and accurate. However, Friday the 10th, this was not the case. As I didn’t recognize more than two folks, I figure there are a bunch of new hires. Large fries were less than half-full, 5-count nuggets had two that were simply bread & didn’t get the requested sauces. Since we were a dine-in customer, the issues were resolved quickly and efficiently… but had I been a drive-thru order, I might not return. Luckily, I’m sure it was a fluke, and I know they usually do a lot better, so I’ll be back. This is simply a heads up for the managers that y’all weren’t on your game today. 2/10/2023 @ 1145.”
