We came here for a late lunch (~3) not knowing what to expect. Little did we know, it quickly became one of our go-to Cajun spots to drive through FW for! The shrimp & grits were amazing - I'm obsessed with the tomato-based cream sauce - and the crab & trout dish was perfect. ALSO one of the best places I've had crawfish thus far in the FW area, so I'd recommend you get some if it's the season for it! Super nice wait staff and fast service. Excellent food and service! We had Grilled Catfish with Shrimp, and Zydeco (blackened catfish over dirty rice smothered with etoufee). Mylie was the most cheerful, professional and proficient server we have had in a long time. We will definitely be back the next time we're passing through.

We had a lovely supper on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Bayou Jack's in Roanoke, TX.The shrimp & grits were tasty as was the pesto bread appetizer.Shawn, our waitperson was outstanding! He was resilient, personable, affable and efficient!Sadly, the restaurant was apparently understaffed as the floors were quite dirty with dropped food, paper napkins, ad infinitum.
