“We stopped by Rowdy Cowboy on the Fourth of July and were so glad they were open when so many other places were closed. The restaurant was fully staffed, the atmosphere was fun and festive, and the servers were even dressed up for the holiday. They also had all of the soccer matches on the TVs, which made it a great place to relax and watch the games.

The food and drinks were both reasonably priced. I tried the mango beer, which was refreshing and perfect for a hot summer day. We shared the queso, which was really good, and our entrees were even better. The smoked wings were delicious with great flavor, and the Rodeo Dip Sandwich was a hit as well.

The standout of our visit, though, was the customer service. Our server, Savannah, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely on top of everything throughout the meal. When a small issue came up with my order, she handled it immediately by bringing in the manager without me even having to ask.

Ashley, the manager, was equally impressive. She resolved everything quickly, made sure my meal was remade, and made the situation right with professionalism and kindness. It was clear that both Savannah and Ashley truly care about creating a great experience for their guests, and that level of service did not go unnoticed.

“Listen I really like this place, the environment is 10/10. They have multiple tables and darts, great place to bring your friends and drink and have a good time. I think where they slack is the food, the menu is a bit overpriced for what it is. Food taste good but for the price, it’s not justifiable. I know it’s bar food and not a restaurant but I was at least expecting bigger portions for what I paid.“

“I don't live in this area and just gave it a shot for happy hour. They have a great happy hour with good deals on drinks and food. The beer is indeed cold, but so is the whole building which in Texas summer is nice, but ladies do come prepared if you are prone to being cold. The bartenders TJ and Melissa were top shelf! They really keep things moving and it was busy. There is also a great local crowd that hangs there who were super friendly to this outsider. I just wanted a cold beer and wound up getting the chicken tenders which were breaded perfectly lightly and cooked just right. I opted for the Caesar salad and it was very good as well. Less expensive and a lot more fun than the place next door which will go unmentioned.“

“Some of the best wings that Ive ever had. Our waitress, Mariah, was super friendly and helpful due to it being our first time there. We were able to try some of the sauces first to test the heat level. We had hot, blazing, bbq, hot honey (tasted more like Hawaiian to me), and spicy dill (with hot as a base). We had the honey and blazing bbq finished on the grill (carmelizing them).“

“Skeptical as it appears to be a sports bar and well we know they usually are all the same. But I ordered the Flat Iron steak. An delicious cut of beef most places don’t serve. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Super delicious and sides were good as well. Reasonable drink prices and excellent food. Would highly recommend!!“

It took a while (maybe a few months) to make this our home hangout, but after trying out other venues, nothing within 20 miles has the character (or characterS) that The Pour Shack does.“
