Our waiter, Mr. Knievel, was super genuine, attentive and cool. Loved the bartender and the food was excellent. It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for and in this case it’s worth the price.“

Fresh salads, delicious bread, large portions in a romantic, as well as family friendly environment. BYOB, plenty of parking, fast service and very reasonable prices. “2.5/5 stars The problem is the service and food level deterioration as the lunch buffet window, 1130-230, progresses into the later portions. The first and previous time, we hit the buffet right at opening at 1130 am. Everything was hot, fresh, and plentiful. Was really impressed with staff, decor, and ambience. Food was well above average. It's clear they are trying very hard. My/our 2nd visit, party of 3, was at ~130 pm. Few items were out. Sadly, the other 2 in the party found the experience below my earlier top billing. Most of my fav dishes: The few tandoori chicken remaining were stone cold. The butter chicken ran out. The goat curry ran out the 2nd trip to the table. What came subsequently was not the same taste, subpar. Perhaps the management can address these issues and consider this as genuinely helpful feedback. Restaurant biz is notorious for these issues that slowly creep in. I did note the manager talk and motion to his employee to keep up with replenishment in a timely manner on my request. Given the great first visit, and two carry-outs from their 2nd location, we would consider another review after management addresses these issues. The most recent visit was a letdown. Cheers!!“

“My husband and I recently celebrated our 36th anniversary. We’d celebrated on the weekend but on the actual day, we were headed to the big Barnes and Noble at Southlake and wanted to eat. Both of use hungry for steak we pulled up the restaurants around BN and found Trulucks. We’d never been there before and decided to try it. I’m so glad we did. A truly classy, gorgeous place with great atmosphere. We had a table in the dining room and the one of the best wait help, Germane Cain, the at I believe we’ve ever experienced.
This gentleman was extremely educated in cuisine, and he could share his knowledge without seeming pretentious. In fact, had we met Mr. Cain under other circumstances I think we would have had a great conversation. As it was, he had to take care of his other tables but did so without our ever having to ask for anything. This would be a great place to take family or business people and be sure that you would not be embarrassed.
We had new wines due to the great advice, and new dishes such as broccolini. And at the finish he brought us a big platter with Happy Anniversary written on it in chocolate and a Baked Alaska. I’d seen these on TV but never had one. This absolutely transcended the boundaries of regular or even top-drawer dining, becoming an experience in culinary delight.
The location is fantastic; you can stuff yourself silly and then go walk it off in the bookstore. The food was prepared so well the steaks almost melted in our mouths. The parmesan potatoes were almost as rich as the dessert. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.“

We've been waiting for their reopening in the new location and couldn't wait to stop by!
