Fresh salads, delicious bread, large portions in a romantic, as well as family friendly environment. BYOB, plenty of parking, fast service and very reasonable prices. We recently hosted our daughter’s engagement party at Cafe Italia, with 22 adults and 4 children attending. Everything was perfect! Albert, Arturo, Patty and team were wonderful! Everyone loved it We will always consider Cafe Italia our favorite Grapevine area restaurant.“

The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. “2.5/5 stars The problem is the service and food level deterioration as the lunch buffet window, 1130-230, progresses into the later portions. The first and previous time, we hit the buffet right at opening at 1130 am. Everything was hot, fresh, and plentiful. Was really impressed with staff, decor, and ambience. Food was well above average. It's clear they are trying very hard. My/our 2nd visit, party of 3, was at ~130 pm. Few items were out. Sadly, the other 2 in the party found the experience below my earlier top billing. Most of my fav dishes: The few tandoori chicken remaining were stone cold. The butter chicken ran out. The goat curry ran out the 2nd trip to the table. What came subsequently was not the same taste, subpar. Perhaps the management can address these issues and consider this as genuinely helpful feedback. Restaurant biz is notorious for these issues that slowly creep in. I did note the manager talk and motion to his employee to keep up with replenishment in a timely manner on my request. Given the great first visit, and two carry-outs from their 2nd location, we would consider another review after management addresses these issues. The most recent visit was a letdown. Cheers!!“

“Had a great first visit to Luna Grill! Elsy was incredibly helpful in walking us through the menu and making recommendations, which made ordering easy—especially with so many healthy options to choose from.

We decided to dine in, and the experience was just as good as the food. Elsy checked in throughout our meal and suggested a shareable, which was a great call. The hummus, pita, and bowl were absolutely delicious—everything tasted fresh and flavorful.

As we have moved farther and farther away, we still make our way over there periodically because their margherita pizza is our all-time favorite. Tonight we went back for first time in over a year and the owner pulled me aside and asked if she could speak to me. She said the last time we were in there (again, over a year ago) they had accidentally mixed up our check with another table and over-charged us by $12.62. She even showed me the checks that she had saved, knowing we would be back. She credited our meal back what we had over-paid a year ago. Y’all! This does not happen! We will always be loyal customers, even though we currently have to drive an hour to get there. Oh! And you can’t go wrong with the margherita pizza (or the spinach ravioli)!“
