“We recently visited Quandary Kitchen & Market, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The menu offers a wide selection that truly caters to many palates. On this visit, we enjoyed the Black Diamond Blackened Chicken. The mix of flavors was incredible. We also had the fries, and they were outstanding. They reminded me of the fries I grew up on, the kind you could happily eat all day. The Margherita pizza featured a perfectly zesty sauce. To round it off, we tried the cheese tortellini with chicken. Let me just say, this dish is a can’t miss. The decor has such a fun ski lodge vibe. It is clear they put thoughtful effort into creating an atmosphere that stands out from so many other ordinary DFW restaurants. It feels warm, inviting, and unique. Lastly, the staff truly sets this place apart. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Eric was especially sweet. He made sure our to go items were packed with care, wished us well for the rest of our evening, and warmly invited us back. We drove from Frisco to try this spot, and it was absolutely worth the trip. Make the drive to Argyle for this standout restaurant. You will definitely want to keep coming back.“

“I have eaten and shared my love of BBQ for years traveling the United States in my job, and living for a time in South Texas enjoying the outstanding Tex Mex cuisine of mesquite wood burning smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey, etc. JR's is a wonderful experience if you are looking for outstanding BBQ, family outing, very professional, friendly staff, with a wide selection of menu options that are simply delicious! I have tried the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, mac and cheese, other side dishes, and soups. I have never been disappointed. JR is one of the friendliest, generous, and community- oriented individuals you would ever meet. I have had the opportunity to see his operation from the fire pits in the back, kitchen, and have always been highly impressed with the cleanliness of his facility. That speaks volumes to the importance of not just quality taste, flavor blending of smoke wood meats, but to the importance of food safety. I would highly recommend stopping by and trying the food for yourself as the flavor of mesquite smoked meat is tantalizing to the taste buds, the atmosphere is very friendly/inviting, and the service the best! “I had such a great experience at Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q! From the moment I walked in, you can already feel that authentic Texas BBQ atmosphere—casual, lively, and very welcoming.

The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly smoked meats, rich flavors, and generous portions. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, truly giving that classic BBQ experience. It was my first time trying BBQ in the U.S., and this place definitely set the bar high.

What stood out the most was the service, especially John at the cashier. He was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. He took the time to explain the different options and made sure I got the best choices to try, which I really appreciated.

“I don’t even leave reviews like this but I had to. True Texas BBQ is hands down the BEST barbecue I’ve ever had and I’m beyond picky. My food has to be seasoned and flavorful or I’m not impressed.

That chicken?? Baby. So juicy. Seasoned to perfection. The perfect balance of spice and a little sweetness. I literally shocked myself at how fast I ate it 😭 I was tearing that chicken UP.

I called my best friend while I was still eating and told her I’m taking her next time my treat. That’s how good it was.

They definitely gained a regular customer. If you haven’t tried them, you truly don’t know what you’re missing. And if you’re thinking about it… stop thinking and just GO.

Alannah G. and Ava D. at the To-Go window were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly friendly, upbeat, and genuinely made the interaction enjoyable. Their energy, sense of humor, and willingness to help really elevated the entire experience. You can tell they take pride in what they do and care about the customer.

Their manager, Peter Berry, was also very kind and engaged, which says a lot about the leadership at this location.

It’s not often you come across a team that makes such a positive impression during a quick to-go visit, but this group definitely did. I’ll absolutely be back!“

Staff were fantastic and apologetic for wait.
