“We ate here today and had a wonderful experience. They were accommodating with the table so we could see the Packers game, patient with our spirited young child, and the food was fantastic. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. We’ll for sure be back often!”

“They catered out "Marriage & Mimosa" Brunch send off on Sunday. It was all amazing. When we ran out of food, the delivered more and it was even better! lol! From the Bagels, eggs to the tater tot casseroles and wings. I would 100% use them again.”

“We have been coming to Bistecca regularly for years for special occasions such as anniversaries, birthday, graduation or personal accomplishments. Bistecca is normally a 5-star, last night's experience was by far the worst service we have ever had in all the times we have come to Bistecca. I guess of all the times we have come, we always have have had exceptional service, but our waitress last night was horrible, she was nice but horrible service. She seem like she had no clue or needed better training. It started out fine when we got seated and she greeted us and noticed that we were celebrating my birthday. She took our drink order and it went downhill from there. She disappeared and rarely checked in on us, thankfully there was another waiter that was tending to us getting us refills and cleaning off our table as we finished each course. Our waitress didn't even mention or let us know about the evening's chef special, just took our order. Didn't ask if we needed refills on our drinks and only came by after the waiter cleaned up our dishes and packaged our leftover. She dropped off the dessert menu and said to look over it and she would be back to take our order. Normally when we are celebrating an occasion, they usually offer a free dessert. When she came back to take our dessert order, my wife said we would pass on dessert but inquired about a birthday dessert and our waitress said, oh ya, if you want one, I can bring it? By this time, we were done and ready to go therefore declined. This was not a normal Bistecca service that we have become accustomed to, I am thinking it is just an off night and will continue to come. Food was still delicious and ambiance was romantic and quiet as we like it.”

“Their menu and food are so delicious and so much of it is GF!!! Just visited for lunch and had two apps (and plenty leftover) and the sauce on the Thai Basil Bites was sooooo yummy. My friend had the chicken fried rice and it was delicious--the portion was generous. Highly recommend!!!”

“The staff at Great American Cookies (1400 Shoal Creek #110) delivered delicious cookies and turned a lost bet into pure comedy gold! My brother Mitch sashayed in, looking like a Cookie Fairy. A bearded man decked out in a frilly pink tutu, a flamboyant feather boa, and tights! They had him prancing across the street like a giddy flamingo, twirling with exaggerated flair, striking absurd poses, and even curtseying with a flourish!

Mitch threw himself into the silliness, pointing his toes with dainty precision and strutting with a sway that left us all wondering if he was secretly loving his bearded ballerina gig a little too much—way too comfortable in that embarrassing getup! The staff roared with laughter over his spot-on toe point, eagerly asking if he’d return again, and posting those hilarious pics online to flaunt their fun-loving store spirit.

And let’s not forget the actual cookies, because they’re the reason we’d come back again. These treats are next-level: soft, gooey, and baked fresh on the spot. Everything was packaged beautifully, stayed fresh for the delivery Mitch had to make (still in that tutu, bless him), and tasted like heaven. Prices are great, and the store’s spotless, with the staff’s infectious humor keeping the vibe pure sugary fun. Five stars for the amazing treats and for helping with our pink princess!

“Super sweet lady! We enjoyed a cold brew, bread pudding, and my husband’s weird request for a special smoothie. She whipped it all up and it was all delicious.”

“Really good food! We got the pork fried rice, Singapore noodles, chicken broccoli and orange chicken. The fried rice was simple with just the rice, pork, bean sprouts and green onion which I actually really enjoy. It’s not loaded down with filler veggies. The Singapore noodles were good with just a bit of spice to them. We all agreed the chicken broccoli was the best. My husband said the orange chicken was good and not overly sweet. We couldn’t find any current menu or prices so we grabbed a current menu to go.”

“Grimaldi's got its start in Brooklyn before spreading out around the country, including a handful of branches around Dallas. We recently dined at their this place at The Shops in Highland Village. This branch offers a large indoor seating area as well as a bar and is open from 11am until 10 or 11pm daily. They have a fairly typical menu of starter salads along with their signature thin-crust, coal-fired brick over pizzas which we found to be generally good during on the evening. Shared a couple of different varieties with custom topping choices, one of the pizzas crust was perfect, the other fairly soggy but overall it tasted good. Salad served up with our meal was similarly decent, nothing amazing nor bad - just decent salad. We thought the large pizzas made for good family-friendly and casual meal out with friends.”
