“I cream treats are really good, but my favorite were the cheese curds. I was told to try them with caramel and powdered sugar, that they taste like funel cake. It will be next time because I'm going there again and again for treats. I might try the burgers then.

The chips were pure deliciousness in my mouth and my husband and daughter swore up and down the onion rings were the best they ever had. Sophie was very attentive and personable and didn’t mind my 6yo talking too much, which is always a plus when people have patience for the youngest of the younger crowd! Between the atmosphere (even the bathrooms smelled nice and were super clean!), the wonderful staff, and the delicious burgers, we would love to come back! “🍳 Sunday Brunch Review – J. Macklin’s (Coppell, TX) 🍳 My wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch at J. Macklin’s and overall had a great experience! The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, perfect for a weekend meal. We did have an extended wait (they were out of biscuits 😅), but I have to give major credit to the management and wait staff. They handled it extremely well and even offered a discount for the inconvenience. Truly phenomenal service, they turned the situation around and made us feel taken care of. We tried the Bacon Board, which has a fun concept but could use a little more creativity. Just maple syrup on bacon didn’t quite hit the mark, but with a little flair this could easily be their signature appetizer. Now the entrées were exceptional. ✔️ My wife’s Southern Benny was flavorful and perfectly executed. ✔️ I had the grilled cheese with a hearty tomato soup and fries and let me just say, those fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. “Lunch was so yummy and the server, Kevin, was such a delight that we returned to eat dinner the same night and requested he be our server. The menu is expansive and surely anyone can find something to suit their tastes. We both had protein bowls for lunch and the filets for dinner. The protein bowls were so flavorful we didn’t feel like we were eating a healthy meal option. The waffle fries with gringo cheese dip, the macaroni and cheese side dish, and the summer salad are must tries. Everything tasted fresh and homemade including the salad dressing. Nothing was cold, stale or past its eating prime. In brief, eating at 54th Street was a culinary experience and the prices were absolutely reasonable. When in the area again we will definitely eat here again!“

Your establishment was so impeccably clean and welcoming. It has left and indelible first impression. I didn’t take any pictures, but they are definitely engraved in my heart and memory.
Your restaurant caters to people on the go, who want to order quickly from a kiosk if they wish. I am old school and I need my human interaction. From the moment we walked in, your decor was so inviting and nostalgic. It was like a trip down memory lane. It reminded me of simpler times back home with my parents and grandparents growing up.
Sophie was extremely helpful and addressed all of my questions or concerns. She listened attentively and was able to make some recommendations. Then we met your diamond, Miss Karla. She added that special attention and interest that made me feel like I had known her all of my life.
She made us aware that she knew who was preparing the food today, and they were awesome at their work.
The Chicago Hotdogs were absolutely delicious! Those sport peppers, kosher pickle spear and that special sauce just made those hotdogs taste like no other. The fries were freshly made and seasoned to perfection. The cheese sauce was definitely an added bonus. I have know found my new burger place. The meat to bun ratio, the condiments and how it was dressed, complimented the entire burger. One of the BEST char-broiled burgers that I have ever eaten. The Dr. Pepper shake was a hit with my daughter!
The icing on the cake occurred when Miss Karla came to the dining area to make sure that we were completely satisfied with our food. I told her that she was right on the money, the cooks definitely knew what they were doing back there. We then started talking about things in general, and realized we had so much in common. We are both from West Texas and she even knew the town where I was born. Miss Karla is a walking encyclopedia, she has so much knowledge about pop culture history and is a gem when it comes to hospitality. I could have talked to her the entire time that we were there, but I didn’t want her to get in trouble with management.
We then met the manager on duty, James. Well it was extremely obvious how much he cares for his associates. A real leader is someone who respects their employees and is willing to invest time and energy to see them succeed in their role.
He also demonstrated how much he appreciates his customers for their patronage. He represented your company with so much enthusiasm and pride. These are the establishments that make you want to come back and who make your visits unforgettable! I can hardly wait for our next visit.

“So good,I didn't know this was boomer jacks it just said boomers outside,had I known we wouldn't have gone ,lucky we didn't know.Last time we had Boomer Jacks in Frisco it was awful everything was just not good.This location was by far so different, service was great,drinks were great,food was incredible everyone was so kind.The whole vibe was just so great,it was actually my husband's birthday and we had drove to Denton to shop for a little bit and ended up at Boomers,by reading a review on Reddit about a good burger at Boomers so there we landed . We ordered torta de milanesa, 2 tacos de Tripitas (well done, crunchy) and a birriadilla. The beef in the birriadilla had great flavor. The torta was good, milanesa had a good taste. Perfect size on the torta. One person may eat it but you may share, enough for 2. My favorite was the tacos!!!! The tripitas were just as I would prepay them at home. Over all great experience and flavor.
