“These burgers are a bit on the pricier side, but they are gigantic and delicious. We’ve ordered for pickup and delivery several times, and if you have some time I definitely recommend eating in the restaurant or at least picking up your order yourself, as things tend to get soggy.
Things that stood out to me on this particular visit:
Neither myself or any of the customers that walked in (there were several) were greeted or even acknowledged. The phone was also ringing nonstop and was never answered. The two people working were extremely busy, but a simple, “Hi, welcome in, we’ll be with you in a moment” would’ve sufficed. I do also wish they were open a bit later especially for Fridays and Saturdays, it certainly appeared they were busy enough for it. I have to let it slide though, as the food, specifically the 2AM burger was phenomenal.“

“I was disappointed with my experience at Pastelito's Hugo in Providence Village. The food was just average and didn’t quite live up to the expectations I had. The flavors were okay but lacked the freshness and quality I was hoping for. The service was acceptable, but nothing stood out enough to make me eager to return. “We visited Jakes Burgers and Beer in Frisco on September 26th and had a great experience. Our waitress, Trish, was outstanding! She mentioned that she has only been in Texas for about eight months, but you would think she had been here for years. Trish was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, answered every question we had, and was polite, friendly, and very attentive throughout our meal. She made us feel welcome and really added to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Jakes in Frisco, and if you get the chance, ask for Trish—you’ll be well taken care of!“

“Came to celebrate my sister in law and brother in law’s birthdays, so we had 11 people total. Arrived by noon and they were able to get us all seated pretty quickly! I didn’t hear any complaints about food, but I will say The Sundance Kid burger I had was DELICIOUS! If you can’t decide what side to get between fries, chips, or onion rings… skip the fries! The chips were pure deliciousness in my mouth and my husband and daughter swore up and down the onion rings were the best they ever had. Sophie was very attentive and personable and didn’t mind my 6yo talking too much, which is always a plus when people have patience for the youngest of the younger crowd! Between the atmosphere (even the bathrooms smelled nice and were super clean!), the wonderful staff, and the delicious burgers, we would love to come back! As my youngest said: “I give this place a ten out of ten stars!”“

“I got the classic vegan burger, fries, and a coke. Good old fashioned American lunch, but cruelty-free. They also have the vegan burger made another way, with a green bun, but i didn't get that this time. The burger was great, with a good melty vegan cheese. The fries are really crispy and tasty. “We had a nice time at Tinman, mainly playing arcade games. The space was clean and they actually had a lot of cool games I’d never seen before. That said, man they love using AI generated images. I’m pretty sure most of the “artwork” on the wall was AI, the staff shirts, the game cards, all AI. I understand the idea, but to me it cheapened the overall experience. Instead of feeling like the space had a unique, thoughtful personality, the AI artwork made it feel a little artificial and impersonal. For a place that’s trying to create an experience, I think having real artwork and more original touches would go a long way.“

We intend to come back before EVERY HEB run now! Home of what is probably the most hidden gem ever. The root beer battered corn dog. The ROOT👏BEER👏BATTERED👏CORN👏DOG👏 It was so good and so crisp and so juicy. Like biting into the concept of fair grounds food. Just so delicious. Fluffy and crunchy and .... agh! Highly recommend! We got our burgers in bowls and i am so glad we did! The cabbage/spring mix the burgers are on, dressed with your toppings and drizzled with your sauces....its just a really tasty, crunchy, flavorful experience. The patty tastes like it came off of Hank Hill's grill. So ....real...tasting? If that makes sense? The pastrami dog was massive and so decadent looking! Well balanced so neither delicious meat over powered the other. (AND IT CAME ON HAWAIIAN ROLLS!! So do the burgers if ya order em not in a bowl) She kindly offered to turn their peach maple smash into a mock tail for me and, oh my word was that a delight. “Finally tried this tiny taqueria in a crowded corner of a gas station, the food was great! We had the bistec tacos w/ beans & rice. The bistec was very well seasoned and had great flavor! The rice was great, the beans were good. We also ordered the pastor gorditas, they were very well made, non greasy and held together well. The meats had great flavor, were tender and tasted fresh unlike some places where the meat sits too long and dries out. Even though this is a tiny place, there was a line and waited about 15 minutes for our food but it was well worth the wait. The gentleman taking our oder was very friendly and the ladies prepping the food were hard at work. We will definitely go back as food this good is hard to find in this area. You won’t know what you are missing until you’ve tried it! ~ just sayin…“

“I placed an order online but after working 12 hrs I did not verify the store location and ordered it at another store. When I went to pick it up they said they did not have the order. I called the other stores and was told that because the food was ready they could not refund me. Which was fine, it was my mistake after all.

The manager heard this and called the store as well. After a discussion he told me that was not right and he was going to take care of us. This is why we come here, they are great people and take care of their customers first and foremost. Thank you again guys.“

I picked up a personalized tasting box from her and brought it home. After one bite of the peaches and cream cake, Rodrigo knew that she was the one (He said: “That’s It”). We had tried so many other bakeries, but it just wasn’t right. Jana is from Brazil and does things as they do 'at home.’ This was a special piece of Brazil that was a great touch to the evening. Jana was amazing to work with and just look at the cake – it tastes even better. It didn’t last but thirty minutes after cutting the cakes. I have already ordered from Jana again for other events. Go check her out, she will blow your socks off with her flavors and is so easy to work with.“

She’s quick, attentive, and pours a mean drink, but it’s her energy that really sets her apart. Kalleda makes you feel like you’re the most important person in the room. They should at least work in bearable work conditions. Please address this situation. Get it fixed“

“I don't normally eat cheeseburgers, but I decided to try one from here today and DANG it was so good! The cheese was melted perfectly over two big patties and they use fresh jalapenos.

“By far one the best and smoothest visits to a drive thru in my area. I ordered on the app before leaving my house and it was ready for me when I got there with no waiting. The gentlemen at the window were happy and fun and we chatted. And I got home with all of our food and it was correct! My family is particular and almost every item is modified. Great job y'all!“
