“We visited Verf's on 9/19/25 and Jose F was our waiter. The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. Otherwise, it was an outstanding dining experience.“

“The food was very delicious, I had the Boom Boom Burger. It had shrimp, jalapeño and pepper jack cheese. The atmosphere was very nice and not too loud. I was visiting with family from out of state so it was nice to be able to talk without having to raise your voice. If we lived closer we would definitely go back!“

“So good,I didn't know this was boomer jacks it just said boomers outside,had I known we wouldn't have gone ,lucky we didn't know.Last time we had Boomer Jacks in Frisco it was awful everything was just not good.This location was by far so different, service was great,drinks were great,food was incredible everyone was so kind.The whole vibe was just so great,it was actually my husband's birthday and we had drove to Denton to shop for a little bit and ended up at Boomers,by reading a review on Reddit about a good burger at Boomers so there we landed . Everything was perfect we definitely picked the right place,even other patrons were kind it felt like a small town friendly restaurant but in a big city. “Great place to grab a beer and some comfort food. We had the buffalo wings, quesadillas and fries. Mark, the bartender, was on point with keeping the beer flowing. Ashley, the manager, was great with ensuring making sure we were well taken care of.“

“Absolutely the best bar. I go there a couple hours early before my movie every week. The bartender is incredible, nice, and the absolute most creative person I met. He makes his own menu that is not done at any other Alamo and knocks it out the park every time. No, you think I mean cocktails you see other places. No I mean he makes cocktails special for the movie, as in both taste and name specific for that movie and they're incredible. He even sets the bar up, dresses up, and puts on music for movies that come out.I don't know how the hell the bar has such a low rating, but he deserves a bonus and the bartender deserves a Michelin star.No karaoke. Stop asking. There's a little stage I think, but I couldn't be happier there's not karaoke.“

“The vibe of this place smacked me in the face when I walked through the door. Ramiro was the best bartender. I was so lucky to get served by him again coincidentally I got to see him last year on my birthday!! He has always guided me in the right direction learning all the yummy shots. The other day my car battery died when I was trying to get home from class and he helped jump it. Thank you Ramiro and Cecily. I cannot express my thanks enough to every person that works here. The food is also so scrumptious, had the thanksgiving burger when I had no thanks giving plans and the whole staff was so welcoming that day even though they had to be at work. COME DRINK AT BEANS.“
