“This hidden gym in Carrollton Texas has the best seafood boil of any place I’ve ever been to. As a seafood fanatic, this is miles ahead of any other seafood restaurant I have been to. I ordered three pounds of crawfish with their signature “Captain Loui” sauce medium heat and it was delicious to say the least. The wait time was incredibly short compared to other seafood boil spots in the DFW area and the staff were friendly and kind. I didn’t see an employee who didn’t look happy to be there which was a nice touch to the already amazing atmosphere. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone!“

“Very impressive for an airport restaurant. Generally speaking, food and service are similar to their regular restaurant locations which seems to never be the case with airport restaurants. They have gone out of their way to keep a solid menu and a full bar as well as the feel of a restaurant that is a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle upstairs. Highly recommended.“

I would’ve taken a picture if it hadn’t been so delicious that I ate it all first. “Good food, bill was about $50 after tip. New years day at 2:30pm and 2 guys working the front were doing a good job keeping up the full dining room. Ordered spicy cold noodles, pork shoulder combo and a spicy beef tofu soup. Side dishes were great, pork shoulder was delicious. Only complaint was the beef in our soup was quite tough.“

The service was excellent, the decor was cozy, and the food was divine. The miso soup was perfectly done, not too salty, not too bland, but nice and hearty. The chirashi bento was amazing. Instead of the usual meh salads they give you squid and seaweed salad which were delicious. The half tuna rolls were more tuna than rice and were fresh and delicious. And the chirashi was just heavenly. Each piece of sashimi was topped with its own seasoning to really bring out the flavor of the fish, complimented by the high quality rice and salmon roe underneath. I was so satisfied by the food I ordered dessert and got to taste the amazing tempura cheesecake. Though pricey, it was worth said price. I left the place full and happy and will be back. 10/10“

Let’s start with the Oyster platter.. pico was fresh and it could’ve been better with more flavor..

Next up is the Tosti-Viche - I was thinking it was okay with more salsa that they had in the buckets.. 4/5 on that one

We also ordered Tacos Governador and Fish Platter.. they were alright.

Like I said, they need more flavors and seasoning.

If you’re in the mood for live music, this could be a good option, with the only exception that you’d have to come when there’s more ambiance.

This place needs more spices and better house salsas to give their food some life.

However! There’s a photographer that took our picture and she framed it for us. That was a sweet touch!- and yes you have to pay for it.

“Partner and I stopped in for bento boxes for lunch and generally had a pleasant time!

First off, the atmosphere was very cozy on a cold day, with low lighting and a few trees inside decorated for Christmas. We were served promptly and each got a bento, both around $13-14.

Let me tell you, for that price, we got a LOT of food. We easily could’ve shared. Each came with salad, two gyoza, 4 California rolls, 3 pieces of tempura, some tater tots, and the main course that you chose. Ours came with a LOT of rice and cabbage under our meat. So value for money is no question great here.

I’d say everything in the bento was okay. The tonkotsu was almost burnt and the crust had no flavor, but it was alright. The salad dressing was very lemony, but everything was mostly bland or uninteresting. Definitely filling though!

Overall, I think we would return. I just wouldn’t expect the best food you’ve ever had!“

If you are a fan of American style Chinese food you will be disappointed. But if you like spicy, flavorful, freshly made food this is your place. The egg roll and crab rangoons were meh. The goat dry bowl I savored over 3 days just to enjoy it more. Pineapple shrimp rice was made with fresh pineapple. The glutinous rice was a perfect way to end the meal. I will be returning to dine in person and will know for the future to double the time given for take out orders.“

My go to place now, I was very surprised at the freshness and flavor. This is not regular chop suey mambo jambo old tasting Chinese food. Nor is it oily..I've so far tried the garlic chicken and was soooo good. Wonton chicken and shrimp soup and beef egg rolls. I love that they have a non pork wonton.
