“Me and my wife stopped in here to change it up for the evening. Tomas recommended the Risotto, it was delicious and the textures were amazing! His people skills were on point and he was quick with the quips. I’ll definitely be coming back and asking for Tomas.“

“Upscale Seafood is getting harder and harder to find everywhere, but here is a great spot in Southlake! The area surrounding the restaurant is pretty cute and the interior of the place is what you'd expect for this type of place. Service from Jarrott was excellent and the food was really great. We did some oysters and had stone crab claws to begin, as well as a crab cake. All were really great, but the crab cake might be the best I've ever had. Old Ebbitt Grill in DC is my standard, but the Truluck's offering may have just surpassed it! I had a Miso Sea Bass that was perfect! My wife opted for Salmon Béarnaise and asked for a rare preparation, but it was overdone. Jarrott corrected the issue and had a new plate prepared perfectly. The only downside was that I was finished before her 2nd plate arrived. Not the worst infraction, especially since we had a nice bottle of wine. Speaking of wine, they have an excellent selection for every budget. Perfectly made cocktails, too! We finished with a Bread Pudding that was really tasty! One issue we encountered (or I encountered) was the bathroom that was badly in need of attention and I had to point it out. That honestly should never happen in a place of this caliber. I'm sure they corrected it when I left, but c'mon.. Still, this is an outstanding option and I would return often if we lived in the area.“

“Awesome food spot, all the shrimp was excellent. The videos of surfing were a really cool touch, as well as all the surfboards in the rafters. They pile butter on the rice which we did not like, but everything else was fantastic. Will definitely be back!“

“My Wife and I frequent beautiful restaurants like Kirby’s Steakhouse, but last night’s Kirby’s Steakhouse experience was phenomenal. From the front / reception with Astrid and her team to the appetizers / wine / main entrees / birthday dessert, facilitated by Korey, was an excellent evening.Korey’s knowledge, attention to detail, and astuteness to our questions was unbelievable. He undoubtedly knew all the menu items and articulated very clearly / carefully. The food preparation / presentation / taste resembled culinary artistry. The quality indisputably was exceptionally above anything I’ve tasted. The Kirby cocktail sauce was like none I’ve ever tasted, a unique blend of sweet and spicy ingredients. The Steak-n-Cake entree was unbelievable. The steak was very very tender, and could be cut with only a fork. I’ve never tasted a well done steak with a little crisp on the outside and very moist / soft on the inside. The lump crab cake and sauce was an awesome combination. This far surpassed any east coast entree I’ve ever consumed. Phenomenal! The potato chip crusted red fish, with the lump crab and spinach risotto was incredibly tasty and something my Wife has never experienced. very tasty and a proprietary product like no other. While the food was outstanding, it was enveloped with Korey’s outstanding / customer-first service efforts! Korey’s been doing this for quite some time, because he constantly surveyed our needs and showed up at the right moment with the right items, without any requests. It was as though he was a “mind” reader and could anticipate / met our needs.Astrid was an unbelievable coach / mentor / friend / support Leader like no one I’ve seen. She demonstrated exceptional Customer Care / Service, to be sure our experience was bar none the best! We’ll be back quickly / repetitively, as this is our “go to” restaurant for anything any time. I emphatically recommend you to give it a try and see if you experience the same experience we experienced!Phenomenal!!!“

“An absolute gem for seafood lovers! We indulged in their delectable snow crab paired with succulent shrimp, along with the green mussels drenched in a heavenly buttered garlic and lemon pepper house sauce. Each bite was a burst of fresh, oceanic flavors that left us craving for more. The cajun rice, a perfect accompaniment, was a delightful medley of seafood and meat, infused with robust spices that tantalized our taste buds. This flavorful dish complemented the seafood perfectly, creating a harmonious balance of flavors on our plates. To complement the meal, I savored a refreshing Long Island Iced Tea, while the divine macarons with vanilla ice cream provided the perfect sweet finale. Everything was simply fantastic! What truly elevated our experience was the warm hospitality. Mr. Jimmy, the owner, greeted us with a welcoming smile and genuine kindness, making us feel right at home. Our server Greg, along with Tin, ensured seamless service, anticipating our needs and attending to us with utmost care. This seafood haven is an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable culinary adventure. “Perry's was beautiful inside! I went around lunch time so it was very busy. I ended up eating in the bar area since I was by myself. The bartenders were amazing and very attentive. I have no idea why, but I wasn't given bread, but the people around me were. I guess it's ok since I barely had any room to finish the food I ordered. The outside of the crab cake was nice and crispy, and the inside was full of lots and lots of delicious crab meat and very little filler. The sauce on the plate was delicious as well. I was disappointed that the crab cake was not hot though. If it was hot I would have enjoyed it so much more. I would definitely visit again in hopes of getting hot crab cakes and to also try more of what Perry's has to offer.“

“Easy 5 stars here. There was zero wait. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and on Saturday night they got us right in. Please note they were busy too.I had the kabob with rice and my wife had a burger and we shared a baked potato. That is the best baked potato I’ve ever eaten! The atmosphere is wonderful. So many things to look at. My favorite part was the bucket of toy soldiers and a sign that said to take one and put it somewhere and when you see it pray for our military and service members. If you are ever in the area stop by! It is worth your time and money.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maria Del Mar, a hidden gem tucked away in Roanoke, Texas, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment my wife and I walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and hospitality that made us feel right at home. One of the standout aspects of Maria Del Mar is the exceptional service provided by Mario and his team. Their friendly and attentive approach added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. It's evident that they are passionate about what they do, and it truly reflects in the overall dining experience. One insider tip that I highly recommend: be sure to ask for their off-menu delights - the Habanero Sauce, Molcajete Salsa, and Toreado's. These hidden gems are not advertised, but they are absolutely worth trying. The Habanero Sauce packs a punch of flavor and heat, while the Molcajete Salsa adds a fresh, authentic touch to your meal. Toreado's, with its rich and smoky flavor, is another must-try. What sets Maria Del Mar apart from the typical Tex-Mex establishments is its commitment to freshness. The ingredients used in their dishes are clearly of high quality, and you can taste the difference in every bite. It's a refreshing departure from the ordinary Tex-Mex fare, and it's evident that the chefs take pride in crafting each dish with care. The margaritas and the incredible refried black beans at Maria Del Mar! These are two more reasons why this restaurant stands out. The margaritas at Maria Del Mar are nothing short of amazing. Whether you prefer them on the rocks or blended, they have the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. Sipping on one of their margaritas adds an extra layer of enjoyment to your meal, making it a true fiesta for your taste buds. And let's not forget about the refried black beans. They are a hidden treasure in themselves. Creamy, flavorful, and with a delightful hint of smokiness, these beans are a must-try side dish. They perfectly complement the main dishes and add a richness that elevates your dining experience to another level. In conclusion, Maria Del Mar is a hidden treasure in Roanoke, Texas, offering a dining experience that goes beyond the ordinary. With welcoming hospitality, off-menu delights, and a dedication to fresh, flavorful cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to savor something special in the Tex-Mex scene. My wife and I will undoubtedly be returning to Maria Del Mar to explore more of their culinary delights and enjoy the warm atmosphere created by Mario and his team.“

“This is my favorite location, hands down. The vibe is totally different from all the other locations I have visited. Upon just the entry, I was satisfied ?. Then, our waitress service was out of this world. The GM Kathy and our waitress Bren made it feel like they had known us forever. They made it feel like we were old friends stopping by the restaurant. And what we noticed was they had that same kind of high beat energetic attitude towards every guest in the establishment. Everyone there was super nice. I actually have two that are located closer to my home, but I will bypass those every time just to come to this Fort Worth location. Nothing beats great food and excellent customer service all in one.“

“After seeing other reviews and recommendations for the fried fish, we had to give this place a try. It's a typical counter service style restaurant. I ordered the 2 piece fish combo. The fish was fried fresh and steaming hot when served. Crinkle cut fries were crispy, fresh and had some incredible seasoning on sprinkled on top. They make their own tarter sauce too. It's Ike no other and almost addictive. Now back to the fish. The combo came with 2 large filets. They were fried perfectly. Crispy and golden on the outside and fully cooked but not overly done on the inside. Fish was seasoned well and tasted great! They forgot to put hushpuppies on out plates. No big deal because we still had plenty of food to eat.“

“3 times to order in the past 2 weeks. Had Kung Pao Chicken, Cashew Chicken and Hunan Chicken, all were very tasty, but they tasted about the same. Same use of vegetables and not much difference in the sauce. 2 spicy, 1 not, but tasted the same. Also ordered spring rolls. Won't order again. 3 very small rolls and works out to be about $.50 per bite.“

“Love the food, especially the chicken soup. Some of the best chicken soup I’ve ever had.I will say, as the years have gone by, the menu has changed significantly since I was a kid. It does suck when personal favorites disappear in place of stuff I won’t eat.My biggest issue would be the price-to-serving ratio. I’m not sure if it’s still on the menu, but last time I ordered it, I spent $20-30 on cheese ravioli to get less than 10 smallish ravioli. But it’s a great place to get good Italian food regardless.“

“Popped into Next for an early Valentine's Day dinner with my Fiancé and couldn't be happier we did! We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. Our server Maude was very charismatic and quick with service but never made us feel rushed. The place really does give off the whole "Bistro" vibe, dim but not dark, music was present but didn't impede conversation. The star of the show was the food, which is generally what you hope for at a restaurant I suppose haha. We felt that nearly everything we ordered was priced correctly (sans maybe the Brie) as you got PLENTY of food. My duck was the. BEST. I've had in years. So crispy yet not dry. A good amount of meat (if you eat duck often you know you're usually getting mouthfuls of bones lol). And I could have drank the sauce by itself, it was that good. My fiancé said that every bit of his seafood was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning on point! 10/10 recommend!“

“After too long of an absence we had a wonderful night at La Bistro. We sat at the bar and started off with the fried cheese ravioli which was perfect. Light and crispy. For dinner we had the lobster bisque, a Caesar salad, the minestrone, and the lasagna. All were excellent. The bar staff and members of the owner's family we chatted with were engaging and clearly value the nearly 40 years of patronage from the local community. If you are like us and haven't been in a while, put La Bistro back in your rotation.“

“Oh my gosh...where do I even begin. This place is such a hidden gem. It deserves more business!! The people are friendly and attentive, the food is immaculate. I've been here a handful of times, my last visit I got their hot chicken sandwich, and it blew me away. I'm white as hell and can't really hold my spice but I love it anyways and this was just perfect. Hot enough to make me sweat, but still so much flavor! I will be getting that sandwich once a week at least. And I've been telling my friends all about it. It's hard to find food that good out here sometimes so props to y'all! Seriously killer. As far as ambiance goes, you gotta give it grace. It's in like the back corner of a food court, it isn't really like a restaurant. But nonetheless I love how you can see everything going on, and I think it's perfect for this place. So good!!!“

“The food is solid here, and overall just very predictable, but sometimes you just want a good, reliable, soulful meal as opposed to phenomenal. I usually get this as comfort food when I'm sick, though the dine in experience is actually great because the restaurant is well decorated. The chowders, hush puppies, and beignets are good, and I usually don't bother getting much else because of how consistent those are. 4/5“

“We visited this restaurant back in March 2024. Me and my husband was meeting with a long-time friend. None of us had been to this restaurant but decided to go since it was close in the area of where we were staying. The outside was quite clean, and I loved the ambience of the restaurant; dark but not too dark. I must stop and brag on the waitress because our guest was quite unsure of what she wanted and because everything seemed so delicious she wanted details on the 5 items she had her choices narrowed down to.Shelly the waitress was amazing as without even looking at the menu was able to literally tell our friend exactly what she would be getting if she ordered say an ultimate fish sandwich, I mean right down to the way the sandwich is prepared. All three of us enjoyed our meal. It was fresh and looked appetizing and appealing. I was a little underwhelmed by the seasoning of the catfish because it tastes as though it had zero seasoning. Other than that, the service was good, and the bill was mid-range. So would I ever come to this establishment again, probably so….at least I can add some seasoning I cannot take seasoning away from meals prepared with too much salt and etc.“

“The food was fresh and delicious! The garlic stir fry was a great choice with combo meats and the pineapple stir fried rice with shrimp was scrumptious with fresh, grilled fruit. We started with crab rangoon- really good! The Thai tea was tasty, as well. The only thing not fully satisfying was the spring rolls, they weren’t bad, just not as good as everything else we ordered. However, the sweet and sour sauce more than made up for it.. it tasted as if it is made in house and was yummy..we dined in and the atmosphere was okay but could use a bit of freshening up. I would definitely recommend and will return.“

“This place is absolutely delicious! Came on my lunch break, and the staff was very friendly. We were immediately seated, and the food came so quickly! The menu is pretty big, and it was hard to decide, but ultimately, I got the spicy orange chicken. This is one of the first time I've gotten real orange peel in orange chicken. “We decided to dine at Keller Chophouse for my husbands birthday. It was a wise decision. The service from Nick was great and the food delicious. We aren't big eaters but left our plates empty. Both the Seared Ahi Tuna and Bruschetta starters were divine and our main course steaks cooked to perfection. We chose Mushrooms, Brussels and Fries for sides, three small serving was enough for three of us. So glad to have found this place.“
