“On our last night in McKinney, Texas, we stopped by Twin Peaks for some late night appetizers. I was with my two kids, including my 6 year old daughter who was a bit cranky at first…but our server, Ivy, completely turned the experience around. She was quick with great appetizer suggestions, which we ended up loving, and she also recommended a cocktail (the margarita), which was so good I ordered a second round definitely a win! “We hosted our family reunion at The Hub and it was an awesome experience! We reserved the cantina area of Macho Taco and had a catered fajitas buffet. The food and drinks were delicious, and everything was set up perfectly for our group. “I absolutely love going on Fridays when Lydia is working, she knows her beers, is super bubbly and personable. You will typically find a large group of us there hanging out and enjoying good beer, Don’t forget to order wings from Michelle in the food truck outside, recommend lemon pepper. They have also started doing karaoke which adds for good entertainment - make sure to go on Fridays and hang out with Lydia and us regulars.“

“This was a cool little find. We were treated like royalty by our server Rachel for being first-timers. The venue itself is cute with an outdoor patio in addition to indoor booths and tables. The French Onion Soup was very tasty and a bit different - topped with puff pastry rather than cheese, but the cheese was still nice and gooey inside the soup. My wife said her tenderloin salad was good. We both enjoyed her blackberry smash. We live in Garland so we won't get there often, but it will stay in our radar when we're in the area.“

“The food, service and entertainment were great but the young hostess seated us in the worst possible table they have. I had reservations, we arrived 15 minutes early and there was an open booth but she sat us at a small cocktail table facing the restroom hallway and end of the bar where the waitstaff hangs out. The table we had was a small table probably only meant for cocktails. We had appetizers, salads, and entree with side dish. We could not see the singer or the arial act. Very poor decision on the hostess for seating any party at that table when others were available!“

“Outstanding from start to finish. Service was warm and accommodating. Food was outstanding. We had the sampler, stir fried goat, meat pie, and suya were fantastic. Only thing on the sampler we weren’t crazy about was the fish roll. They offered us puff puff. Light, delicious and fresh from the fryer. Mains were majestic stew and Jollof rice with beef tips. All were rich, flavorful, and wonderfully spicy. It was an outstanding meal and we will absolutely be back.“

“Came here for the first time on what ended up being an absolutely Gorgeous Sunday. We chose outdoor seating, and were delighted to have Bentley as our Server. I was a bit overwhelmed by the numerous options available to me (as a vegetarian for 30+ years, usually a fairly limited selection at a burger joint), but Bentley reassured me I could build any combination I’d like. I went with the Vegan Patty (freshly made in house), w/cheddar cheese, crispy onion straws, ketchup, lettuce & jalapeño chutney on the side. It was Effing PERFECTION! I’m so glad we stopped here, huge shout out to Bentley on being exactly what we love in our server: Genuinely friendly, helpful & attentive- you ROCK!“

Love the cool art and stickers in the dining area, bathroom is always clean. And they have kool aid!

“Bf and I came here tonight for our weekly date night, and there’s not much remarkable to say about it.

Run of the mill chain Tex mex that tasted exactly as one would expect. My steak fajitas were $26, but you get a lot of food (including a HEAP of Spanish rice and lots of tortillas) for the price. It was all just alright, nothing bad but nothing to brag about.

A few minor gripes: one being that our waiter was decently attentive but I was never offered a refill other than a to go cup of my drink (which I took), and the other being that it was INCREDIBLY loud in there. Bf and I were sitting across from each other and eventually gave up on conversation because we had to yell to be heard.

Overall a decent place to have conventional Tex mex, but there is better around, as well.“

“We stumbled upon this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Food is really good and service is fantastic. You can request certain spice levels for the skewers as we have kids that can only handle a little bit of spice. Great atmosphere inside. They also have karaoke which makes it fun.“
