“This is a great local bar in McKinney. They serve awesome food and are great company. The staff is friendly and have no problem striking up conversation. they have TV set up around the bar so you can see most of the bigger things happening. They also have an outside patio where they also do karaoke and live music. They make you feel welcome and take care of anything you ask for. This is an accessible location and does have accessible parking from the street side. Parking is available on both sides no construction is going on on the back side right now. This is a cozy place to relax and get a good meal or drink. The outside patio is also dog-friendly for when you want to bring the pup along. The outside seating is cooled by fans and misters depending on the temperature of the day. They're also TVs on the outside patio with all the games etc as well. The staff are awesome especially Ray, Nicole, Macie, Chesney, Buddy, and Alyssa.“

This dish was a flavorful journey, with tender chicken pieces enveloped in a creamy, richly spiced tomato sauce that perfectly captured the essence of Indian cuisine. Each bite was a delightful exploration of authentic spices and ingredients, affirming the kitchen's prowess in delivering consistently excellent dishes across our visits. However, despite the exceptional quality of the food, the service aspect still leaves quite a bit of room for improvement. It's worth noting, though, that there has been noticeable progress since the bistro's opening day. The staff seemed more organized and attentive, suggesting that the restaurant is actively working on enhancing the dining experience from a service perspective. One persistent issue we encountered was the volume of the music, which remained ridiculously loud despite multiple requests to have it lowered. The overpowering sound level hindered conversation and made communication with the waiting staff challenging. When it becomes difficult to place an order or inquire about the menu because you and your waitress can't hear each other over the music, it detracts from the overall dining experience. Tantra Indian Bistro offers an excellent culinary journey through its authentic and flavorful dishes. While the service has seen improvements, there's still a way to go, especially concerning the ambiance affected by the loud music. We hope to see these issues addressed in future visits, as the quality of the cuisine, especially the Chicken Tikka Masala, truly deserves a dining environment that complements it perfectly.“

“I going 5 stars for now as this was our first visit. Really good burgers though a bit overdone, full bar, and good tap/ale selections. Not very crowded so we go to enjoy sitting at the bar having dinner and a drink or two. I am sure it is much busier during the weekends (we are residents of downtown) as well as when the Union Bear opens across the street (part of the 33 group that Cadillac and The Yard are part of). As it is self service, you have to order at the bar area so I see that getting a bit much if crowded...“
