“Service was great, even when the place was packed. Parking is a little bit of an issue but there is a parking lot across the street that works just fine. Food is great and they have a nice selection of drinks. Came here with a group of friends (we all have kids). This place offered a lot of activities outside for the kids. Nice little place to relax, let the kids run around and have fun.Parking: Parking across the street if the lots are full“
“If you have not eaten at Hugs, you are missing out on some yummy food and such caring service. This cafe is one-of-a-kind and even more special because of the people who work there. There is a lot to see and do in downtown McKinney but a visit to Hugs should be on EVERYONE'S list!“
“The food was fantastic but Sam our waitress elevated the dining experience to a new level. She was attentive but not pushy. She answered all our questions, even what type of grapes the ice wine was made with. The true star is a carrot, served as a tribute to his mother. The steaks and duck were great but the carrot was extraordinary. Most places can cook a prime cut steak but this carrot. It is simple and tender. Sweet but not overdone. I have eaten Berns in Tampa and Christner's Prime in Orlando and this place is on an equal footing.“
“Welcoming ambience--rustic style with good lighting. A nice place to celebrate with friends except that when it's busy like weekends, it gets loud in there. We were satisfied with the quality of foods we ordered for brunch. Glad that we decided to order an appetizer. We had a party of 5, it took awhile for our main course to be served. Service was fine. Didn't get an offer for a refill of my coffee. And they forgot the fries that goes with the cod fish that my daughter's friend ordered. Not liking the idea of unisex bathroom.“
“This was our first visit to the cafe and the service was phenomenal, the food was great and they honor military discount which was a plus and a nice way of saying we appreciate our service members past and present. The pricing was fair for the quality of food and atmosphere and service. We will return when we visit McKinney again!Kid-friendliness: Our server made sure the kids were included and were happy, very pleased with the experience all around!“
“The food here was outstanding and the service was even better with our waitress Erin, she was extremely nice and patient. She returned my daughter's meal when it didn't please her. I would definitely recommend coming here. Will be returning soon!!Dietary restrictions: We weren't able to eat any dairy products and our waitress Erin, was glad to help us.“
“This place is the epitome of a hometown gem! We frequently visit here and it's always our top pick when showing out-of-towners a taste of local flavor. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home. Every dish is a delight – truly divine! Don't miss out on asking about the nightly features; they're always worth it. If you're unsure what to order, I highly recommend starting with the BBQ sampler or the salmon dip, and for mains, you can't go wrong with the McKinney cut or whatever market fish they have available!“
“The food was prepared perfectly with excellent flavors. Our party had seafood and steak entrées, both of which were excellent. We started with calamari and tuna tatar and enjoyed them both, although the ratio of cucumber to tuna was a bit off, taking away from the flavor of the fish. However, the seasoning and sauces were excellent. We did not try dessert, but likely will next time. We had no room this time. The wine selection is pretty extensive including international lines.“
“Ordered chopped steak (with mash potatoes and broccoli), meat loaf (with mashed potatoes and fried okra), 2 kids meal spaghetti with marinara sauce, sweet potato fries/french fries), cherry cobbler, and banana pudding. The chopped steak was good and their mashed potatoes were also great. The meat loaf was a little too ketchuppy, but the fried okra was great. The kids spaghetti was a bit overcooked and watery, but the sauce was good though it was on sweeter side. The both desserts were very good, and all the dishes had good portion of food and the price was reasonable. We'd definitely come back and try them again.“
“Great food, great customer service, rustic feeling, and good country music soaking the atmosphere. The bread rolls are to die for and make you get a second serving even if it means you get a takeaway for you main meal.Wait time was pretty short on this Saturday afternoon even though it was a full house. Food takes about 15 mins to come, so prepare for that. The full ribs is a recommendation. It's a juicy experience of tender bone detaching yummy ribs.“
“Decided to come in for a peaceful lunch by myself today. There were 2 ladies that helped me. One took my order and the other one brought me my food. Both ladies were very sweet. They both had genuine smiles and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door. I ordered the BLT croissant and the chicken tortilla soup per the server’s recommendation. Food was delicious. I will definitely be back.“
“Karaoke on Kentucky and the garage every other Thursday night is the BEST!!! Kristie is the MC and Kevin the DJ. Kevin’s a true musician and knows how to bring a great time to all. Chauvon at the garage knows how to take care of you while you have a great time listening to Karaoke on Kentucky. Come on out and enjoy! You’ll have the best and memorable times.Russell“
“Everything here is ALWAYS great! The host was the nicest today …it is at Patrick’s, right around 4:30 pm there was a wait of 45 min …seeing that I came only with my toddler she accommodated me immediately! Awwww It felt nice !! I wanted to celebrate with my baby st Patrick’s and did, thanks to this awesome lady! I get sentimental bc some of my family lives in Ireland so I wanted to feel connected somehow … if she would have told me like the she told the other guests it was a 45 min wait I would have gone back home. This was the best part of my day !!! Me and my baby celebrated!! This is the third time I eat here (before was takeout) and everything I’ve ordered is delicious :) I’m thankful this is so close to my house ! Thanks lady that got us a table with no wait !“
“We have been eating breakfast regularly at Layered for two years. The service is consistently attentive and friendly. The food is always good, although the scrambled eggs are sometimes overcooked. The robot food delivery is great fun. The top tier coffee bar is always a treat. The restaurant is clean and the seating is comfortable. This is our family’s favorite breakfast stop.“
“Sunday night 9pmish still had a good amount of people out on dates, eating with family, and more. Chill indoor outdoor place, upbeat funky jams, lively outdoor terrace space. Great for pups, and small to larger groups. $5-$7 for 16oz Cold Draft Beer!!The outdoor place is fun with different leveled areas. Love love the design of the outdoor space! The many aged trees within the patio space really makes the outdoor vibe. Theres lots of heat lamps around, and shade from either umbrellas or trees.Beer cups are plastic. Must mean this place can get pretty crowded and rowdy? Fun place. It is less about a mile/22min stroll from Hutchin's BBQ. We ate bbq, and strolled off our food to Historic Downtown McKinney...full of a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Almost everything was closed on a Sunday 9pmish though. They seem to have weekly events too like Tuesday Bingo Music night.“
“We love Waffle House as there's always something interesting going on there! While we are waiting for a table this one random guy just sat down at a table with a family LOL the manager had to come over and ask him to get up and not do “
“Been going to Dillas since their only location opened was the one in Plano. It's fresh and tasty. I can't remember a week I haven't gone lately in the past years, at least me or my husband go once a week. The hot hatch is where it's at and the chips and queso. The fires are good too. You can get any Dilla as a salad too. They also have fresh brewed sweet and unsweet tea and lemonade. We always said this place would take off and it is and I am so happy for them that they have grown so much over the years.Good food. Great people. It won't be long before you will be able to find a Dilla anywhere you go!“
“Just went here this morning- the breakfast here is just the best and the customer service is even better. Silvana our server was sweet and very professional, Especially the manager, Claudia, is so welcoming and friendly. Seriously, I can’t recommend this place enough!“
“We ordered the garden omelette with grits and sourdough. We also ordered the Toluca Omellete. And Coffees.$38.88 tip included. All of the food was piping hot, fresh, looked and tasted great. Been in McKinney for 20 years. Our first time here.Seems like they rock the breakfast. Can’t speak to the others.Great staff. Will bed back.“
“I have come this First Watch since it opened in McKinney and it has never disappointed me. I know the Manager Rick, always a welcoming smile and very patient and professional. Ashley never takes notes and remembers every detail of our order and we have a large family to feed at times . These two are the backbone of this First Watch and we enjoy every delicious moment. We love this First Watch and the people who work here.Kid-friendliness: My children always have the best time and they eat all of their food, and they are picky eaters“
“Food was good, wasn't overly busy at lunch and was served quickly. It's not what I typically eat, but going to try it again.Vegetarian options: I was not looking for a vegetarian option, but from what I read everything seems properly labeled and there were multiple options per dish to fit a person's needs.Dietary restrictions: I was not looking for a particular dietary option, but from what I read everything seems properly labeled and there were multiple options per dish to fit a person's needs.Parking: It's a lot in a strip area, should be easy enough to find room most time of the day.“
“The food was pretty good, though I don't know if I'll be back.In the 10 or so minutes I went in to get food, I returned to my car only to find my wallet was missing. The place itself is fine, but I cannot attest to the area being good.“
“I was gifted with a gift card and so glad I was introduced to this place! Please be mindful that the wait is not going to be an in/out experience (it's not fast food), so if you're pressed for time come back when you have time to wait, or perhaps call your order in (if they allow that). They have so much stuff in here, and you just want to buy up everything!! I had to restrain myself! LOL!I don't eat much pork, but I just had to try their smoked ham sandwich with the pepper jelly. It was soooo so good!! OMGosh!!! Lord's will next time I'll be trying their tomato bisque! These fiber rich honey cinnamon graham crackers were good as well! The chips were wayyyy too salty. This brand goes heavy on the salt. Sheesh! ?? I'll try the other brand next time. You get a cookie with your meal, I had the white chocolate cranberry. Yummers!! ?? I'll def be back! Great customer service and dope vibe! ??“
“We’ve eaten at Spoons many times. Spoons has a large list of food options that include gluten free bread. As someone who eats gluten free, it’s a treat to be able to get an excellent club sandwich that meets my dietary restrictions. Staff is always friendly, the food is tasty and Spoons continues to be a place we enjoy eating at.“
“Loved it. Went to their gospel brunch and was mesmerized. The ambiance is stunning. The food was delicious and the live music by the 3 G's gospel group was so melodic. It was just what I needed. I had my body and my spirit nourished at the same time. I will be attending every month to their once a month Gospel brunch.“
“Dickys smokes their wings for 12 hours then flash freezes them and when you order them they fry them up fresh for you. The result is a smoked hot wing that tastes like heaven. Best wings around, try them! Most folks don’t think wings at a BBQ place, but you must try these wings. They’re huge too!!!Kid-friendliness: Free ice cream and their machine isn’t always broken like at McDonalds.“
“We ate at The Saltgrass Steakhouse last night. 3 of us had steak, my wife had the Salmon. I had the Brussels sprouts with my Ribeye and they were very flavorful. It was all delicious. Their special bread was a big hit, and the fried mushrooms appetizer were good too. Oh I had the Blue Cheese butter on my steak, added good flavor. It’s not a cheap night out for 4 people, but the food quality is a good value. It was my son’s birthday dinner, so had to splurge a little.“
“This place is great for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Their dishes are made with fresh, wholesome ingredients and the portion sizes are perfect. I've been here a few times for brunch, and have been happy with it every time. Their omelets are huge and come with a couple different side options. There's inside and outside seating, and the wooden booths are cute. Check the hours before you go -- they're open for breakfast through lunch. The location is also great in that my favorite nail salon is a couple doors down. The service has always been good here in my experience, from the servers to the manager checking on things.“
“Love me some Elwoods. They've got Trivia nights every Tuesday, FREE comedy shows the 2nd Wednesday of every month. We love the burgers and of course, the bag of chicharones. I'm more of a bar patron, so for me.....the drink menu takes the cake. The guiness is always poured right and the drink specials are always different. Price range is in par with the area. We love it!Wheelchair accessibility: Front Door was easily accessible, Inside area is adequate in terms of movement space. Lounge chairs provide an area for easy access. They are, however usually being used. Bathrooms are spacious, the outside is also easily accessible and provides GREAT room for lounging.“
“Everyone is always kind and welcoming. We come early evening/late afternoon with our kids, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Wonderful beer selection, great food, and relaxed atmosphere. My only slight complaint is that they should have more than 2 high chairs for families.“
“Foxiis is a true gem that blends sports bar vibes with casual dining. They excel in service, quality, and ambiance, raising the bar for others. The crispy coated calamari rings with sweet chili sauce were a mouthwatering start. The Firecracker Shrimp Tacos, served with avocado, cabbage slaw, chipotle aioli, and sweet potato fries, exploded with flavors. The staff's genuine hospitality added to the enjoyable experience. Foxiis redefines standards. Highly recommended!“
“I ordered the Chopshop burger with fries and it was very good, thick patty and fresh veggies! The sauce was good as well.My spouse order the Salmon, and the taste was as good as the presentation.Friendly atmosphere and staff. We will be coming back to try again.“
“Hi my name is lyric and their tater tots are CRACCKKKKKK af cuh.LIKE WTH!I wanted to take a picture but I couldn’t stop eating them before I did it. So here we are… there no tater tot emoji but you’ll get this ??I’m pulling back up just for these on because they’re crack. The good kind of crack.“
“It was a little different from when I was a kid in the 80's coming here all the time. It brought back so many memories. We had cheeseburgers, fries, and chocolate shakes. Everything was very good. I will definitely come back if I am ever in this area again.“
“best wings i’ve ever had. best phili i’ve ever had. best fried rice i’ve ever had. the fries and ranch are absolutely a 100/10. i go here every saturday with my friends. never can complain. they make it quick and delicious and the service here is amazing. they remember every customer that comes again. plus the bathrooms are clean! if you’re reading this and you haven’t been to a&ds what are you’re doing!!!Parking: plenty of parking spaces, i don’t expect it to be bigger. it’s a small building, so the lots gonna be small. Plus most people are taking out that’s why i’ve never struggled with finding a spot. people are in n out.“
“Polite service and well-trained staff. Placed an order via phone and was quoted a 5-minute wait, but the order ended up taking 20 minutes. Food tasted good, and it was neat to have mashed potatoes and gravy as an option. However, portions are definitely on the small side. But that just meant having room for dessert, which is something Culver's specializes at. I've never seen mint syrup as a topping option elsewhere and blending that into chocolate custard results in a treat that tastes exactly like Andes chocolate mints.“
“Food: I had a vegetarian wrap, that was delicious in the crispiness of its falafel and the taste of the sauce.Service: the servers were very kind, asking for our opinion on the food and offering us samples of possibly new flavors.Atmosphere: I really liked the atmosphere. It's not a very big building, but the colors on the walls, the organization of tables and chairs, and the customer service make it a very calm room with a relax and chill atmosphere.(I didn't go into the market area, so I can't offer an option on that).Parking: On a Friday afternoon, it was easy to find a parking space.“
