Growing up in Texas, most of us had that family owned Mexican joint we ate dinner at once a week - that is El Matador. It has that TexMex comfort food vibe. Great margaritas and enchiladas.
The best family restaurant in Denton with a well established home feel and amazing staff the actually get your order right are attentive and make you feel welcomed. Eat it Eat it all it's delicious.Parking: Ample parking.

Hidden gem. Don’t let the humble exterior fool you. I had the tamales and my husband fajitas. Both were excellent. Save room for the churros. They were to die for. The staff was very friendly.
