“How sweet it is to be welcomed at Mi Tata's!! The most magnificent services given by the 3 respectful gentleman and 2 sweet ladies that make accusations service friendly -service sweet! Thank you all and once again: HOW SWEET IT IS TO BE WELCOMED AT MI TATA'S!!“
“I love this restaurant it is my new go to place for delicious authentic Mexican food! I was starving one night back in February when it was really cold and I was craving chicken mole so bad! I haven’t found very many authentic Mexican restaurants in Denton that make Chicken Mole. So I was so excited when I came across Don Chiquitos! They have the best Chicken Mole I have ever had! It was so full of flavor and I also got so full! They give you really big portion sizes! It’s also really affordable a lot more affordable than most restaurants! I have also tried their Al pastor tacos and they are amazing! Im already addicted to Don Chiquitos food and the cheap prices too! This is my new go to authentic Mexican restaurant at the moment!“
“The was above average, the price ridiculously affordable and pleasant service. What you see in pictures is exactly what you get. I'll go back for sure. I paid $6.99 for the taco plate. Last week we went further east on McKinney (I won't name the place but it's in a small convenience store) and paid $16.99 for the same food - 3 street tacos, rice and beans. Won't be going back there!“
“If you’re looking for a great spot for real Tex Mex food look no further. La Fondita has been my go to for my “Mexican” food cravings for years now. They use amazing ingredients and the chefs always deliver on their dishes. Wouldn’t change a thing!“
“WOW is all I can say about the amazing first impressions of this place.Service was so warm, humble and welcoming!I believe It should have multiple locations with nothing but the best cooks and chefs! I hope a food critic sees Boka Feliz.I am from Milwaukee, JUST tried/had their Mexican Shrimp cocktail, and was absolutely blown away! The presentation was so pretty but when I tasted it, my tastebuds had a fiesta! The presentation invited me in with it’s placement, beautiful colors and it was so flavorful. The perfect balance Sweet, well-seasoned, and acidity flavors, blending extremely well. AMAZING! GIVE THIS PLACE MORE ATTENTION PEOPLE!? ??“
“The place is run by a bunch of teenagers, and that's ok they did a good job and were polite. However, the prices are a bit high for what you get. The large gorilla dilla isn't very large at all. I honestly thought they had my order wrong, but it wasn't. I would call it a chimp dilla at most. 16 dollars for one, that's with no drink or side. Now for that price you can go to a much more established restaurant and have a nice experience. The savings grace is that the food is actually good. Especially that green sauce. The hatch chilies were great, and the steak was tender, not burt or over salted like you would get at Chipotle.Parking: Right next to targetKid-friendliness: Kids menue“
“We eat here at least twice a week. It's very, very good. They are owner-operated and it's very obvious by how well their restaurant is kept and how bomb the food is. The meat market inside is great as well. The marinated meat is awesome or you can get nearly any cut you want if you call ahead and order it. Highly recommend!“
“Chuy's is a great place to eat. The atmosphere is good, clean restaurant and friendly service. I ordered the ground beef burrito with queso on it. It came with beans and rice. This was Deli and very filling. It's definitely worth every penny! We will return. I'll add photos next time.“
“This is the place! If you like tacos for breakfast or lunch, there's no reason to go anywhere else. Not only is the food fantastic, but Sofy is a lot of fun too! The eating area is comfortable to come and eat-in, even for a family. This is a hidden gem that we are lucky to have in the area. Now get out there and support Sofy!“
“Magnificent Mexican food, drinks and service. This place has been here a long time and has a lot of history and is beloved by the town of Denton, which says a lot about the quality and service of this restaurant. We love coming here to dine and highly recommend it.“
“All of the Taco Bells in Denton are terrible, so I decided to give Taco Casa a shot. For my first visit, the food came out quickly and tasted great with the downsides being the higher prices and lack of combos/deals that Taco Bell has. I spent $18 for 2 soft tacos, 2 super tacos, and a large Dr. Pepper (mostly ice). I rarely spend over $10 at Taco Bell for a similar meal. Taco Casa seems to have better consistency and overall quality, which makes it a good substitute but not my first choice.“
“Not your normal taco place. A large variety of taco options. The ones we tried were awesome.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible even from the street sidewalk. They made an exit spot from the sidewalk, across the parking lot and into the restruant.“
“Ive never been inside, however, i can only assume that the service and atmosphere is great considering the fact that every dish ive eaten is immaculate. Not really one to write food reviews, but this establishment deserves all the stars. The menue size is heavenly with every kind of food you can think of and each dish is spiced to perfection. I only regret adding a whole package of lemon juice to my corn, and that was all my doing. It makes my day everytime i get my order!“
“THE BEST BREAKFAST TACOS IN DENTON!! ? I finally found them after trying so many breakfast taco spots in Denton, this one by far takes the gold! Their flour tortillas are so fresh and soft, don’t get me started on how good this salsa is y’all!! Come give this spot a try! ?“
“This was, without hyperbole or exaggeration, the single greatest meal I’ve ever eaten in the best atmosphere you can possibly imagine. Service was impeccable and the food came out quickly and was delicious to a degree that can not accurately be described.“
“Small neighborhood spot in strip mall. It would be easy to pass by, but the ceviche-OMG-so good! It was so fresh-the best I've had since leaving the Houston area 7 years ago! Staff was very pleasant. The young woman who waited on me was so personable and helpful when I told her it was my first time there. I don't live near this neighborhood-about 20 minutes away, but this spot will be worth the trip for their awesome service and ceviche!“
“This place has really good authentic Mexican street snack. I highly recommend beef jerky from here. It’s so good. I ordered mango habaneros! It was really spicy which I was looking for. But they have different flavor as well. I asked the owner what’s your best seller. The owner recommended me corn which is called Elote Entrero. It was really good! My husband ordered Piñazo(mexican pineapple snack with raisin and Takis hot nuts snack on it, Fruit was very fresh. )and mangonada. I highly recommend this store if you are looking for real authentic Mexican snacks!! This place also sells ice cream for kids. This place is kids friendly.I’m definitely going back here soon.“
“Our first time was amazing. We had a large group of hungry friends, there was a wait for out table, but once in, they didn't disappoint. Everything was fantastic, very fresh and flavorful , and that includes their flavored margaritas. It's been six month we went back with high anticipation remembering how good the food was on our first visit. This time we had a smaller group just six of us, there was no wait they got a table ready, server was friendly, but seemed to be in a rush, then the food was ok, not fantastic like before. We ordered two different desserts, our flan was ok, it was the smooth texture of a good flan, it was harder than softer. Our friends order the hot skillet apple pie, the skillet was extremely hot, it actually burned the crust it only cooled down after shifting the small scoop of ice cream into the skillet which then melted the ice cream and reveal the charging of the crust. We didn't complain, we just know not to have high expectations anymore.“
“Food was delicious also lots to pick from. I will day the green sauce is very mild (reg green salsa) and the red is too hot. I will certainly come again but be careful when pouring the red salsa. The lengua tacos are moise and tasty as well as the Carne asada. The pastor didn't do much for us particularly and the cabeza tacos are great as well. It w was not too soggy and the meat felt like pretty good quality. In all I'd recommend this place and come back. It's literally a hole in the wall“
“We stopped here for a late lunch while visiting my niece at UNT. It has a welcoming, pleasant atmosphere and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The owner was incredibly friendly and kind. My niece accidentally left her keys here and when we were retracing our steps and landed back at Mi Casita they had just closed for the day, but the owner had her keys and had been waiting for us to come back. Great family-run establishment!“
“A staple restaurant in Denton, excellent food, the beef fajita chimichanga is superb, I get it naked with the sauce on the side so it stays crunchy, same for the chicken flautas which were crunchy-delicious. Their cheese sauce (queso) is legit.Great frozen margaritas and fresh salsa hits all the spots. You have to get the flan, it’s was awesome!!The chimi-cheesecake with chocolate sauce was pretty good too.Great experience every time“
“Found behind the QT and cash only. The baker here is so kind and sweet. I didn't know if they had any Tres Leches cake so I called beforehand, this was a last-minute mission for my husband's birthday. There are very few authentic panaderias around. I haven't tried the other baked goods yet, but I will definitely be coming back to try them out! The Tres Leches cake received so many praises on how gorgeous it was and how it tasted!“
“Came to Denton for a school competiton for my child from SA and was looking for tacos of course! Well, when there's a line, you know it's good! Line was quick and let me tell you, the food was delicious! Took me back to my grandma's mexican cooking with love, flavor and just homemade. Barbacoa taco, Machacado w/egg and pap con chile, Yummm! If I am ever in town again, it will always be one of my stops.“
“Both my cards were declined. I apologized to the lady for wasting her time. So I watched my buddy eat. Out of no where, I hear, "Señor, your order is ready!" She had made me a taco on the house. I put the last $2 in cash in her tip jar and thanked her. I'll be back!“
“Delightfully tasty, appropriate portioned servings and delectable adult beverages served in a professional and timely manner. Definitely on the list to return to in the future.Parking: Multiple places to park in nearby streets and car parks.“
“We stopped in with our Taco Group because if you don't have a group of friends who visit different taco spots around the area, what are you even doing? lol. Back to the Tacos, we had the chicken tacos and barbacoa tacos, and they were so good. Chicken was very flavorful, and the barbaoca was really good and not extremely fatty like some places. The meat to taco ratio was good. We loved the fresh tortillas and chips and salsa. We will definitely be making another trip really soon!“
“The food was delicious. We ordered ahead of time since it was a large order and everything was nicely packed and ready to go upon our arrival. The staff was nice.Parking: It is on the corner, so depending upon what time you come you may have to park on the street but it's not bad.“
“Our food was great. Wife got the pulled pork tacos and they were great. The pickled onions were amazing. I got the asada de rojo which tasted great. Margaritas were on point (frozen swirl and pineapple jalapeño). Service was quick and attentive. Highly recommend coming to check this out for yourself.“
“Best gas station breakfast tacos I've had anywhere. I usually don't take the risk with gas station food, but they know what they're doing in the kitchen, and you can tell it's made with love.I also got a steak burrito. It was huge and delicious. The breakfast tacos were the best, though.“
“I love coming here because the food is really good. One thing that ruins the dining experience is they have 2 different stereos playing. In the dining area they play Latin music, but in the kitchen they blast whatever music the staff wants to listen to. It makes it feel chaotic and not pleasant hearing two different songs the whole time we’re eating. Also service seems a bit slow. I have to ask for them to bring our desserts out even though it’s clear we’ve finished the entrees. Food is excellent but the dining experience could definitely improve.“
