“its my first time here. 3-21-26 the staff was helpful and friendly, I loved my Tipsy chicken taco! the price is right, too. Kate quickly brought to go containers, and chatted with us for a bit. Im sure she was swamped, but she took the time to answer my questions. That meant a lot to me. so,thank you, Torchy's for a lovely lunch.“

“The food was delicious! Me and my mama went and she got some 10/10 pupusas and a really great horchata! I got some Chile rellenos that were perfect and sooo cheesy, 10/10 as well. The restaurant is very clean and amazing atmosphere, service was wonderful. Prices are amazing as well, if you're reading this, STOP and go try their food!!!!“

Lo único decepcionante para mi es que dos veces eh ordenado Gorditas de Chicharrón Prensado y al llegar a la casa me doy cuenta que es de chicharrón duro o peya como se le conoce en Torreon. Esta última vez llame para estar segura que tenían del prensado y me dijeron que si pero no me dan el correcto. No se cual sea el problema si las de cocina o la que atiende la orden o simplemente no saben la diferencia entre uno y otro“

“I'm from out-of-state and when I arrived in town I ordered a dozen of the peas & potato enchiladas and tamales for a family gathering for the Labor Day weekend. The food was off the charts! It's the BEST authentic Mexican cuisine south of the border. Literally, I was homesick for Mexican food and La Estrella Mini Market hit the bullseye. Thank you again for the wonderful experience of your food. You're the BEST in your field. You're definitely worth the trip! See you soon.“

“We just had a party of 16 in Miguelto’s in Krum. When we walked in the person setting up our tables was not so friendly about it. Then our server headed over to our table. Her name was Brittany D. She was fabulous!! She handled our order like a champ and kept our drinks filled and our chips and salsa filled as well. Outstanding job Brittany!!! So glad you were our server!! The food was amazing as well!“

“For some reason our bank was showing we had been paid for the full amount for our food, but their system wasn’t registering it. “In search of the best Mexican/Tex Mex food in the area, I ran across Tacos Azteca which had just moved to Roanoke. I’m happy to say that this restaurant, so far, has come the closest to satisfying my El Paso, TX palate. I purposely ordered a huge variety of dishes including Menudo, Barbacoa, chilaquiles, enchiladas, etc.
I was most satisfied with the Menudo and red chilaquiles, as they use chile guajillo for the red sauce. My wife ultimately loved the enchiladas suizas. Another important factor to me is the salsas which were better than other places and complement the dishes well.
Overall, this restaurant has definitely earned my business and I’ll be returning to try more dishes and for more of my favorites.“

“Imagine chipotle, but better, cheaper, and more fantastic. The meat is very good. Especially the habanero lime steak (I think it’s limited) but it’s very very good. Anytime I get a bowl I always leave full and satisfied. I paid a decent price, for a great meal. They aren’t shy on your portions either, you can also easily get double, or even triple steak, without it quadrupling the cost.“

“Just had an order from Door Dash. Ordered the double chicken tostada, with no a avocado, with ranch and chips and salsa. It had 2 avocados on it No Ranch or Salsa. I have tried 3 times to call and can not get through. Very frustrating!!!“

“So impressed with the service we had tonight with this restaurant. We do not live in the area and we’re here for a football game. Our youngest son had a terrible headache and their staff stepped up and gave us children’s Advil that they had to go to their vehicle to get. Thanks so much, MICHAEL! Our server was Rolando and he was amazing. We had the soup, tacos, and chili Reno.. which was all fantastic. Great service, great food, and people who care. That’s the most you could ask for. Not to mention our tab was completely reasonable!“
