“We were on the hunt for a traditional Brazilian cake for the groom’s cake. We looked and looked until we found Jana with Marvelous Cakes & Pastries. I picked up a personalized tasting box from her and brought it home. After one bite of the peaches and cream cake, Rodrigo knew that she was the one (He said: “That’s It”). We had tried so many other bakeries, but it just wasn’t right. Jana is from Brazil and does things as they do 'at home.’ This was a special piece of Brazil that was a great touch to the evening. Jana was amazing to work with and just look at the cake – it tastes even better. It didn’t last but thirty minutes after cutting the cakes. I have already ordered from Jana again for other events. Go check her out, she will blow your socks off with her flavors and is so easy to work with.“

“I really wanted a banana pudding cupcake today, and they aren't that easy to find, so I was pleasantly surprised that I could get one in Frisco.

Atmosphere: Fluellen's is clean and cozy. There are plenty of tables if you want to eat inside, and I liked the display showing what each cupcake looks like. It made it easy to choose.

Service: We were immediately greeted. Service was super quick. 10/10.

Food: I had banana pudding, and my daughter had red velvet, and we both rated them 10/10. No notes. They were delicious, and we will be returning.“

“as someone with Alpha Gal; finding somewhere i can eat safely and that actually tastes good is hard to come by. i have came by here countless times, but this is now the second time i have driven the 40+ minutes it takes for me to get to this specific location, and they have been closed way before the posted closing time. i arrived by 7pm and they were closed. again, this is the second time this has happened to me now. so disappointing.“

“I hadn’t been to La Madeleine since before COVID, so it had been quite a while since my last visit. I stopped by the Frisco location with my son, and it ended up being such a wonderful experience.
Shelby was genuinely kind and attentive from the moment we arrived. One thing that really stood out to me was how thoughtful she was with my son she offered him coloring pages and a crayon, which kept him happily entertained and made our visit so much easier. It was such a small gesture, but it meant a lot.
We were lucky enough to get a table near the lit fireplace, which made the whole experience feel extra cozy. The food was just as good as I remembered. The cream of mushroom soup is still one of my favorites, and the chicken Caesar salad was delicious.
After not visiting for so many years, Im so happy to find that La Madeleine's food and atmosphere is still the same and they even have a new raisin type of bread now along with the complimentary sourdough and brown bread. Thank you, Shelby, for your kindness and for making us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back.“
