50 Best Bakeries near Rowlett

“My daughter’s wedding was last weekend. Lakeview Bakery created the wedding cake and groom’s cake…and both were a huge hit! She created the coolest Fortnite themed cake for the groom that looked incredible and tasted great. The wedding cake was three tiered, delicious, and beautiful. Delivery and setup made the day a breeze.“

“Today, I had the pleasure of experiencing Soul Food Sunday at Absolutely Edible for the first time and to say I was impressed would be an understatement. The food was ahhhhmazing, but the warm and welcoming greeting I received from the moment I walked thru the door until I left was the real blessing! I can’t wait to refer and return. What I ordered: Two dinners (1meat 3sides each)… #1 Whole fried chicken wings Greens Yams Mac n cheese #2 Meatloaf Double cabbage Broccoli n cheese casserole Desserts: two sweet pot thangs/1 banana pudding Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection! Check them out and thank me later! (PS. this review is straight from my heart and my very happy belly)“

“I mean cookies are good BUT the customer service was horrible. I chose curbside pickup and literally nobody came out.. but I could see them through the window… THEN they gave me the wrong cookie and I didn’t notice till i got home.. called them and they wanted us to bring that cookie allll the way back because TO me she thought we just wanted a free cookie or we was gonna eat that cookie that WE didnt order“

“Come in and experience a new Patisserie in the Casa View shpg center. Surprise yourself with a real scone! Coaches and Crescent rolls. Numero uno! Bien Aqui!“

“Crumbl has one of the best cookies. Always been my favorite go to place for cookies.
Unfortunately this time after placing the order of the 3 mini pack I was told they don't have semi chocolate chunk cookies 😞 I was at the store to grab some choc cookies to surprise my wife, I hope they update their systems with inventory to cause a little less confusion and disappointment.“

“I wish I could tell you I went and bought these but did not. Hence , can’t say anything about the service or atmosphere. What i can say is this Korean baked goods is yummy. Not sure of the names of the were since they were brought in but good stuff. Look forward to a visit and into selecting my own.“

“Everything at this store is great. They are always friendly. The girl who filled my order noticed I was wearing my dog tags and asked if I served in the military. I let her know that I served in the Army and she gave me a veterans discount.

Keep up the great work, we will be back !!!“

“A very dynamic warm, family owned business serving great food which was absolutely delicious! ordered the egg and cheese Fukhara with alawi cheese and the zaatar Manakeesh and both were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and delicious. They have a great variety of different breakfast and lunch options with really great taste and reasonably priced .definitely recommended .coming back!“

“Joan’s cheesecake was out of this world! When I was on her website, I didn’t see cherry cheesecake on her menu and when I contacted Joan to see if she could make one she happily agreed! My husband fell in love with her cherry cheesecake, which is quite the accomplishment. He hasn’t been able to find one that didn’t leave such a bad after taste. Joan’s cherry cheesecake was so delicious. It blows the cheesecake factory out of the park! It was so creamy and the cherries were the best we’ve ever tasted. He had given up trying to find a good Cherry cheesecake too. I don’t really care for cherries on a pie or cheesecake, but I LOVED the way Joan made them. The weren’t overly sweet and they weren’t too tart. I recommend Joan to everyone. Joan will definitely be my go to for cheesecake and I can’t wait to try all the other cakes as well! Thank you Joan for making this an awesome experience and going the extra mile. You ROCK!“

“My Asian friend recommended this place and she was right! Bread soft and crispy. The subs were fresh and the menu had pics and brief descriptions so we knew exactly what we wanted. Very authentic baos which were basically subs on tasty bread. We took 4 fresh rolls home. There wasn't any seating inside to eat so we enjoyed our lunch in our air conditioned truck. We will return 👍🏼“

“You don't often find a place with 100% on reviews but if anywhere deserves that score it is Latinos Bakery. The thing is; calling it a bakery is only half the story. They also have fresh cooked tamales and an entire menu of authentic Mexican cuisine. I've tried a number of things but the tamales and tacos are my favorite. The tacos are the pre-Covid price of $8.49 for 5 and the tamales are $20 a dozen. They are worth EVERY PENNY! I love the Roja sauce and my wife likes the verde. The pork tamales are the best but the chicken and cheese are amazing as well. The pastries and such are what give it the bakery name but the real treat is the Tres Leches cake. They have classic or chocolate and both are amazing. I just can't recommend this place enough. The they are always nice and smiling to me and even let me try stuff if I'm curious but not ready to commit to ordering a whole plate. This is how every business needs to be run! Now excuse me, I need to rest because I nearly overdosed on tamales and tres leches!“

“The family that runs this establishment have always been super friendly and super helpful. I go to the shop like 3 to 4 mornings week to get my kids all something before school and one day I had forgotten my wallet at work and they gave me the food anyways happily without even thinking about it and they always have a bright welcoming smile.“

“Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Nana Dots Southern Sweets! I had the pleasure of purchasing four different cakes, Butter Cake w/ Cream Cheese, Butter Cake w/ Chocolate, 7 Up Pound & Soc it to me cakes, from them at the Lancaster Night Market event, and I am so thrilled with my experience. These cakes are honestly some of the best I've ever had—moist, smooth, and absolutely delicious! Thank you, Nana Dots, for bringing such delightful sweets to the event. If you're ever in search of exceptional treats, I highly recommend giving them a try! 🍰❤️“

“The Rockwall Crumble cookies is always very friendly. They keep a good variety of cookies each day and seems like they always have the popular chocolate chip and sugar cookie available. I've seen other stores that done have the basic cookies daily. Plus they are big and filling cookies. So you only need a half dozen. Haha!!“

“This drink called Keki Foam Match is really nice and balanced! 👍🏻 I learned that Keki means “Cake” in Japaneses. And this drink is basically matcha latte topped with sea salt foam, which is just like the beverage version of a Matcha Cheesecake. Loved the drink, I am going to their cheesecake next time!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible! If you are looking for authentic, delicious, and fresh Mexican baked goods and food, La Paloma Bakery y Más is an absolute must-visit! Their pan dulce is incredibly soft and flavorful, and the breakfast tacos are some of the best around. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite because everything here is handmade, including their amazing, fresh tortillas. The staff is always welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone in the area—I already can't wait to come back and try the tamales next!“

“This place is very neat and tidy for a pan place. Every week I bring my two children in to get pan, and the cashier lady is so sweet to them, talking to them. The pastries are also evenly set out and neatly placed. It's a very nice establishment.

“The Love Confection came through for me this week. 2 days prior my 18th anniversary I finally remembered that it was our anniversary this week. AHHH! No worries, cause Love is around the corner with Love Confections. Love, the owner, understood how special this German Chocolate cake needed to be and she did not disappoint. My custom German Chocolate cake was ready for pick up the next day and saved my marriage. I'm a heavy set guy and I know my food. This cake had smooth chocolate, fresh and moist layered bread with pecans and coconut, with cherries on top. This was the best cake I could have asked for. Thank you The Love Confection“

“I actually had donuts and kolache’s delivered to us through DoorDash, and the donuts and kolaches were so fresh and tasted amazing. This was the best donut place that I think I’ve ever tried, and even through DoorDash, the quality of food was incredible. So good, that we even ate them the next day and they were just as fresh as if they were right out of the oven.“

“Just went last week and put in an order a couple days in advance for 4 dozen conchitas and 5 dozen colored cookies and they had it ready when I arrived on Sunday. I’m telling you these concha’s and cookies were so soft and delicious! And Benito and his staff are so kind and accommodating! The price was beyond less than what I was even expecting.

But I would recommend the desserts for any events or family gatherings.“

I got a naked cake with flowers and she even made it perfectly fitting with my cake topper! I’m so happy to have found this place and will continue to go back for more! Also, the cake taste sooo good. It was light, airy and not sweet at all. We got the whipped frosting and it was just the perfect dessert!“

“Best bakery near me, I recommend this, the yoyo's (besitos) are my favorites!. Bolillo's come out so hot and fresh and so tasty, AND FOR A VERY CHEAP PRICE, for 5 sweet breads, it's under 10 dollars, come here for the best pastries!“

“We ordered a custom cake for my wife’s baby shower. We gave her a design from internet and she made it perfectly. Not only it was beautiful, it was also very delicious. Loved the sponge and icing texture. They also helped us to match our preference with our budget.“

“I enjoyed coming here as a kid. It was always a very delightful place to go to before going to elementary school. I remember the donuts being sweet, but not too sweet, and the drinks were filling and flavorful. The only hiccup is that sometimes service was slow because they didn't have much workers. But otherwise it was perfect. (To the Owner: thank you for all the strawberry donuts and strawberry milk you guys had in stock while I was a kid. Without you guys I would not have had many good mornings going to school. Or birthdays. So thanks. 😁)“
