“Good vietnamese food feel like back in vietnam food, definitely recommend Cháo lòng, Bún mắm, Cơm tấm, Hủ tiếu Gõ. Remember people there a different from hu tieu go, and hu tieu nam vàng and hu tieu can tho they are not the same dish. They also have great tea that are serve with the food and alot in spice condiments on the side“

“My Asian friend recommended this place and she was right! Bread soft and crispy. The subs were fresh and the menu had pics and brief descriptions so we knew exactly what we wanted. Very authentic baos which were basically subs on tasty bread. We took 4 fresh rolls home. There wasn't any seating inside to eat so we enjoyed our lunch in our air conditioned truck. We will return 👍🏼“

“This restaurant has excellent food with fast service and a reasonable price. Unlike some other places, the quality is very high here. The inside decoration is sparse but it's very clean and even feels as authentic as it can be for a small place inside a strip mall.“

“I absolutely lovvved this place. The food was absolutely amazing and great service. Also so reasonably priced. There was a reason D Magazine rated it as the best! Its well worth the drive to try! FYI, it said Garland but its really Richardson. Its just off Arapaho Road.“

“Mom and pop great find in the area. Had lunch on Sunday. They open at 10am. They also have a vegetarian buffet for $15 per person or you can order from them menu.
They have a variety selections from rice to noodles to vermicelli bowl. Also have other stir fry as well.
They also sells pre-made side dishes as well.
The restaurant is clean and the staffs are really nice.“

“Located inside the Saigon mall food court . Came here early morning for their cháo lòng specialty (rice porridge) . The owner is a nice older lady that’s very genuine and sweet . I asked her what’s her most popular dishes on the menu and it’s the cháo lòng and they are still cooking . I waited for 20 minutes while they are cooking but it’s worth it . This is my to go place for cure of the hangover or that awesome breakfast .“

“Located in the food court at Cali Saigon Mall.
Considering the size of the portions, I thought it was on the pricey side, especially for a food court, but the food was very good.
The employee who took our orders was also very friendly.
Avoid peak hours, because this food court can get filled really quick, and you will find yourself waiting for available seating.
Overall rating, 4.4“

“Had a wonderful first experience at My Canh. Ordered the cod with tofu hot pot, fish with spicy Sichuan sauce, beef filet on a sizzling plate, and watercress with garlic; everything was excellent. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing with family. Finished with hot tea to balance out the spicy dishes. The food quality and flavors really impressed me, and the portions give you great value. Definitely coming back to work my way through more of their menu.“

“Kind of surprising that this restaurant has a 4.2 rating.
I give it a fair 4.5!
As per the norm with Vietnamese restaurants, don't expect stellar or engaging service. They take your order, drop off your food in 5 minutes, and you never see them again.
That's how it usually works in Vietnamese restaurants and Dong Que was no different.
I've added photos of the entire menu, because they do offer many different items.
Ordered their Pho and Vermicelli Bowls and was very surprised at how good they were. Portions were solid, taste was solid, price is good despite it being post- Covid era.
When you order your Pho, you can order up to 4 different proteins, for the same price of $13.50!
I think I found my new spot for Pho, as there are too many mediocre spots at expensive price points.
This place is very solid, so I recommend!“

“This is the best Banh Mi place in my opinion in terms of pricing and taste. Buy 3 get 1 free, so 4 breads for $16 plus tax. The cashiera and workers there are so sweet. You can request anything and they will fulfill it for you without any complaints. I've been going there for 5+ years. I also tried different Banh Mi places and nowhere can have the same price and taste that I like like this place“

“October 2024
This location served great duck Porridge for a long time. I think ownership changed after Covid.
However, I enjoyed their egg noodles soup. I’m happy they change their setup using real bowl instead of plastic one.
Great value for a quick soup noodle. I appreciate the self service method.
My rating as 5 is very satisfy
Taste 5/5

Cleanliness 3/5 food court
Attentiveness 5/5

“The garlic butter chicken intestines and young eggs dish was satisfactory, although it was somewhat overly salty when consumed on its own. It was served with plain sticky rice and priced at $19.99. While it was a worthwhile initial try, it is not a dish I would order again.
The deep-fried garlic butter chicken feet were flavorful, crunchy, and addictive. However, the serving size is substantial and would be best shared among a group of 4-6 individuals, as it may be excessive for two people.
The Thai green chili pork ribs soup was delicious and offered a generous portion size at $16.50. The soup base had a slightly sour and spicy taste, while the pork bones were cooked to perfection. Overall, this dish offers excellent value for the price and is definitely worth trying again.
The men's bathroom was very dirty, which raised significant concerns.“

“I recently dined at this charming Vietnamese restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that made the space feel cozy yet modern. The staff was attentive and friendly, offering great suggestions and making sure we felt taken care of throughout the meal.
We started with the fresh spring rolls, which were packed with herbs and shrimp and served with a perfectly balanced peanut sauce. The star of the night was the pho — rich, aromatic broth simmered to perfection, loaded with tender slices of beef and fresh toppings. You could tell it was made with care and tradition. The bun bo hue was another standout, spicy and deeply flavorful.
Their Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and sweet, just the way it should be. For dessert, the pandan waffle with coconut milk ice cream was a delicious surprise — crispy, fragrant, and light.
Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. This spot is a hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese food. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to all my friends and family!“

“I ordered grilled meat with broken rice here and honestly, it was amazing, but what really stood out was the hospitality. The young guy who served me was super friendly and cool. He actually checked in to make sure the food was good, which I really appreciated. A lot of places just serve your food and walk away, but this local Vietnamese restaurant made me feel genuinely welcomed.
The food was great, but the service is what makes it even better. That kind of hospitality means a lot to me, and it’s the reason I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!“

“This place has some BOMB cha lua. For you non-Viet folks, that's vietnamese pork - kind of like our version of ham. Put it in banh mi (bread). Eat it with banh cuon (rice rolls). Roll it into your spring rolls. Eat it with rice or vermicelli. Put it in your noodle soups! Heck, you can even eat it alone - it's that good. This stuff is awesome. This place has good quality cha lua and is cheaper than it's competitor across the street. The fam always stocks up on them and we store them in the freezer. It's located deep within the Hiep Thai plaza (if you're facing directly at Hiep Thai from the outside - it's located on the right).“

“This place is inside a Vietnamese market and I would have never known about it if it weren’t for my gf who suggested it. We got the #2 and I was really unsure about it because I am not really into super bready foods. Plus the bread looked really hard and distasteful but omg was I wrong.
The bread was light and crispy on the outside and super soft and buttery on the inside. I was literally shocked when I took my first bite. The meat was super tender and not overly salty. I am guessing they process the lunch meat onsite as well as the bread. Not to mention the pickled veggies on the inside were absolutely the perfect combination of flavors with the meat, bread, and fresh cilantro.
Highly recommend this place and they even open at 8am if you want to pick one up bright and early.
Also plenty of parking!“

“Egg rolls I had for an appetizer are definitely in my favs of all time. Orange chicken was good in portion and taste could have used just a little bit of a kick. Showed up at an off time which can often result in poor service but it was very good in this case, including the hostess or maybe owner stopping by to chat about the book I was reading. Told my friend who likes Chinese and we will be back next time he comes through to go out to dinner“
