Foremost, the broth was the star, as it should be. It was rich, fatty, umami, and mouthcoating. Seriously. Some of the best pho broth I have ever had. Since I got the Pho Bo, they served up rare beef, brisket, and meatball quarters. Every time I though I'd finished the meat, another chunk floated to the top. Christmas in a bowl. Ha!

I ordered the combination bowl, with flank, round steak, meatballs, tripe, and soft tendon. The noodles were tender and cooked just right, but the true star of the dish was the broth. It was rich, balanced, and had that deep, slow-simmered flavor that can only be achieved with hours of cooking.

“Go to place for Hu Tieu in DFW. For Vietnamese restaurants, I generally recommend getting what they are known for.

I get a mix of egg noodles and pho noodles with the variety of meat and seafood. Soup and dry version is great!

Service is simple, order quick and food comes quick.
