“Saw this restaurant shared in a FB community group and gave them a try.The food is very good and has a lot of flavor! I got the Ginger Thai lunch special that came with a spring roll as we as a Mangonada (aka chamoyada) drink. The pricing was reasonable, and I’m excited to try the curry next !“
“Best Laos AND best overall Thai food I've had period. People giving this place less than five stars are literally crazy! ? Like every truly good Thai place yes the outside is a little dingy. But as soon as you walk through the door it's a little cluttered but clean, tidy, lots of beautiful living plants growing, tasty homemade treats for sale up front. To me that homey atmosphere is all the more magical and authentic! Even then I'd be happy to eat this food sitting on the curb! It's so delicious. Well spiced and seasoned, plenty of vegetables, aromatics, meats, and insanely low prices for the quality and quantity of food you're getting. We got a truly delicious pad sea ew (my one year old absolutely decimated this), the lao curry crispy rice salad (don't miss out on this dish and it's the best I've ever had) and these truly spectacular tapioca balls filled with sweet savory pork peanut filling and topped with garlic crisps. I've never had them before and the texture and flavor were absolutely divine. Trumps any dumpling! I can't wait to come back and try their pad Thai. Usually pad Thai from restaurants is a disappointment but I just KNOW it's going to be legit. We also snatched up some coconut layer cake on the way out which I'm enjoying as I RAVE about this place. So warm gooey, creamy, chewy, not too sweet. Probably best I've ever had too. Honestly I can't wait to come back, we're SO excited we found this gem!“
“They have the best service. The guy knew that we were muslims and he gave us these before its time to break our fast and he was so nice saying how much time we have left. The food was really good too, and there cinnamon fried icecream is the best.“
“The food at The Blue Rat Thai Kitchen is simply delicious! I had the chicken fried rice along with one of their tasty desserts. I stopped by the other day for a takeout order. I’m hooked! My niece recommended this restaurant and we love their food and they are so kind and gracious to everyone. It was a 5 star experience indeed!???????“
“Umi is quality! My boys and I love ordering and eating here. Though not sushi, the ramen and shrimp tempura appetizer is a must every time.If you opt for the basic California and Philly rolls they are great for newbies. Some of my favorites are the Jessica Albacore Tina sashimi, surf clam, yellow tail, anything salmon, Roll over roll, special crunch, and Las Vegas roll. You will not be disappointed with anything you order there. It's top notch and I'm happy they here in Garland.“
“This place is wonderful! Delicious, fresh Asian food and excellent customer service. The owner and his staff are lovely and welcoming. Everything on the menu is great, with affordable prices for the amount of food you get. The Thai tea, drunken noodles, lemongrass tofu, red curry, and pad thai are very tasty. I had never eaten Cambodian food before, but I'm glad I found Rumdoul! Rowlett has a gem in this locally-owned restaurant. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome“
“I recently enjoyed an amazing takeout experience from Saucy Thai in Plano that absolutely deserves a 5-star review! Every dish I ordered was a culinary delight, showcasing the authentic Thai flavors Saucy Thai is known for. The Tom Kha soup was the perfect starter, with its rich coconut broth and tangy flavors warming me from the first sip. The Kao Soi was a standout, its savory broth and tender noodles offering a true taste of Northern Thailand. The Pad Thai, a classic favorite, did not disappoint either, with its perfect balance of sweet, sour, and umami flavors. The Spicy Noodle Pad Kee Mao and Basil Fried Rice were both vibrant and flavorful, packed with fresh ingredients that spoke to the quality of the food. Not to be overlooked, the Dumplings, Crispy Spring Rolls, and Spicy Edamame were delicious appetizers that started the meal off right. Picking up my order was a breeze, and everything was packaged neatly, ensuring that the food remained hot and fresh until I could enjoy it at home. Saucy Thai in Plano has definitely earned a spot at the top of my list for exceptional Thai cuisine to-go!Vegetarian options: All dishes can be made with Tofu or VegetablesDietary restrictions: They customize as needed. We asked for no tofu and no egg for the basil fried rice!“
“If you want delicious halal food and great service, check out Noodle Wave! The dumplings, vegetable curry puffs and Bangkok fried chicken were amazing.Sushi had amazing service and was very attentive! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me adjust the spice level so I could still enjoy the food. The food even came out quick! She really added to the overall great experience!Would definitely visit again!Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“Amazing just amazing. Complained that table was sticky and she came to clean it.I think the chopsticks are super glued but that’s ok. Sushi fantastic, ramen astonishing. I will come back again. Much much much love. If you don’t like it your taste is abysmal ?(this picture is bbq ? squid?)“
“My first time to have dinner at Bangkok at Beltline last night, March 20, 2024. Delicious food, beautiful plate presentation, excellent service, and nice tables with white cloth napkins and silverware. Let me share with you what menu items I ordered and how fresh, hot, and scrumptious they each were: 1. Thai Steamed Dumplings with a tasty sauce to dip 2. Crispy fried Corn Patties with a sweet and sour sauce topped with a few cucumbers and crushed peanuts and 3. Green Curry with white rice . I ordered my Curry medium spicy and it was so delicious! Fresh and hot! The white rice was molded into the shape of a butterfly with colorful orange strings of carrots and a spring of herbs leaves… very nice touch! I enjoyed my dinner with a nice glass of Chardonnay! I will definitely return to this Thai restaurant! Thank you all for a wonderful dining experience!“
“Best Lao and Thai restaurant in the dallas fort worth area. The first time I tried it, the food was so good I had to come back again the next day. Customer service was hands down the best ive received in a while. 100% will a new go to spot in the “
“Family-run corner restaurant with a menu of Thai favorites. Clean, quiet, quaint atmosphere. Excellent penang, and the pad-woon-sen clear noodles are also great. Service is fast and attentive. Lots of seating and they appear to do a thriving takeout business.“
“Food was excellent and service was initially good. Me and another couple were the only ones in the restaurant and after receiving my appetizer and drink my server disappeared and I wasn’t checked on again. I had to go to the bar to just cash out. I left and went somewhere else which makes me sad because the food was amazing.“
“Great place for Thai food. They're honest about their spice ratings, so pay attention. I've sweated through more than one shirt here, but I like the heat. I've eaten in and grabbed it to go. It travels well if you need to grab it to go.“
“Delicious food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere! We ate:- elderberry flower soda- 2 butterfly pea sodas- Chicken Spring rolls- tofu Noodle soup- tofu pad Thai crisp- meatless lo meinEverything was fresh, hot, and exactly what we expected! I'm planning on going back soon! They also have a large array of gluten-free options, which is perfect for my sister with celiac.Vegetarian options: Many of their dishes can be made without meatDietary restrictions: Gluten free options available on most dishesParking: Large parking lot with other surrounding restaurants“
“We happened upon the BEST Thai restaurant, Thai Soon, in Richardson! Portion size was great, a tiny but quaint place facing Coit Rd, just south of Beltline. Actual address is 101 S. Coit Rd, Suite 401. We always start off with spring rolls. If you want oil free you need to specify steamed tofu, not fried. I had the Cashew Nut Entree with Brown rice that was heaping with fresh veggies ! I had a spice level of 3 and it was perfect for my spicy palate. Pat chose a Pad Thai with Veggies as well. Both of us agreed that it was the best Thai food we have ever had in Dallas (and we have frequented many)! We followed up with Purple Sticky Rice for dessert, and it was a 10/10! Not the right season for Mango Sticky Rice, so we tried something new, and cannot wait to return! Prices very reasonable as well! You won’t regret a visit to Thai Soon In Richardson.Vegetarian options: You can substitute tofu in most all dishes. Just be sure to tell them that you are Vegan and cannot eat any animal products.“
“Food ordered: Pad Thai, Pad Sew Ew and a Peach Green Tea. Everything tasted so good! Both noodle dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Only complaint is I wish the Pad Sew Ew had more noodles. The Pad Thai had way more on the plate but the presentation of the dishes were so cute! I can't wait to come back. Service is wonderful too! It's the kind of service where you order and then get a buzzer and pick your food up at the station. They prepare it on a large wooden tray. You always service yourself water which btw was GOOD water as well! This place is clean and cute! Pricing is a bit on the higher side total was about $46 after tax and tip for two dishes and a drink! WORTH IT in my Opinion!“
“The veggies and tofu was very flavorful and yummy! Also, their crab and cream cheese rolls are heavenly. The sauce they serve them with was very good but I like the sweet chili sauce with them a little better. The staff is very sweet and the food came out very quick!“
“Stopped in during peak lunch service in a Wednesday and they were packed. Even still, I was seated within 2 minutes. The food is excellent. I went with Panang Curry and “hot” heat level. It was the perfect lunch portion and lunch heat level.10/10, I’ll be back for sure“
“The food is authentic and the portions are generous. My two (male) companions were able to finish their meals, but I didn't and was offered a box to take home the leftovers. The Thai fried rice was even better the next day. I will be back!“
“First time here for lunch with my sister and niece. We were hungry from marathon shopping and decided we needed some Thai food. The service was great and they were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant enough. The restaurant is small and cozy. The menu has a huge variety of dishes although many of them are quite similar. Our food was served quickly and came out nice and hot. The food itself, however, was pretty bland and lacked much of a flavor profile. I was surprised by this. My sister liked her food (shrimp) but said that the shrimp was a little overcooked. She loved her Thai Tea! My niece who is vegan enjoyed her vegetables, rice and tofu. I had the beef, vegetables and rice and was just not impressed. It was bland, the beef was tough and the veggies needed more cooking time. Rice was okay. I felt the prices were too high for what we got. If the food had been excellent, I would have been okay with the high prices. I still feel like this was a decent 4 star overall experience based on the nice people who work there and the excellent service we received.Dietary restrictions: Nice vegan options.“
“Had an amazing dinner at this place today! The staff made me feel incredibly welcome right off the bat, setting the stage for a fantastic meal. I went for the crispy beef, and it did not disappoint—crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and just packed with flavor. It's clear they know what they're doing with Asian cuisine. In short, great vibes, amazing food, and I'm definitely coming back for more.“
“This is a really solid Laotian/Thai chain(I thinks it’s a location chain?) The food is always really consistent, and the website for ordering to go is really easy to use and has such nice photos. We love the wings sausage and papaya salad here! One of the best parts is, if you order your meal spicy—it is spicy. Some places still skimp even when you ask for the highest level. Definitely recommend“
“Came in for the first time wanting to try out something new. Got the Lao Rolls as an appetizer and the Crispy Pork Belly entree. Both were superb. The Lao Rolls had a great texture and the mushroom and chicken combination was a fantastic flavor. The pork belly was indeed crispy and served with bell peppers and fragrant Thai basil all in a delicious sauce. The menu has so many other delicious sounding dishes so we plan on returning.“
“I am absolutely astounded that this place didn't have more customers here. The food was wonderful. The staff was friendly, and the service was great. I guess having a bar next door didn't help with parking, but even still worth trying to get here. I went back a second time just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Ordered Thai Ginger Chicken with extra ginger the second round. First was a Pad Thia.“
“Great service from the moment we stepped in. We were seated immediately. A server brought over a hot bowl of vegetable soup. (Great on a cool day, like today.) The food was great. The medium was spicy, but not overly hot. The mango, sticky rice dessert was delicious. The servers worked together to make sure that everyone was taken care of. It was worth the drive.Parking: Limited number of free spots in this little strip. You may also score a spot on the street.“
“Get the Herb Chicken Fried Rice. It's the best fried rice I've had in Dallas hands down! The Basil Fried Rice is also super good if you don’t want fried chicken, highly recommend! The Pad Kee Mow and Pad See Ew are pretty good if you're in the mood for noodles.“
“I love hanging out with friends at Bambu. We had fresh conch larb (off menu special) ... so yummy! We also have oyster salad, creamy Pacific Coast oysters tossed in a spicy-citrus dressing with fried onions and garlic. The Pad Kee Mao Boran is always a go-to for me - fresh, thick rice noodles with its aromatic "wok" char. We also have a bottle of 2016 Twommey Merlot, always love exploring their wine menu - very extensive and diverse.“
“I typically get dinner to-go orders from here at least twice a month, but ate inside once when I brought a couple friends. I always enjoy the food and the wooden atmosphere is really nice inside. Staff are friendly and pretty quick regarding to-go orders. My friends also shared that they had a positive experience as well. Try out their pad thai or curry fried rice on the hot spicy level, it tastes better in my opinion.“
“I literally come here like every week with my mom. The servers have grown to know us because of how frequently we come here. The food is amazing, you need to try the Pad See-Ew or the Orange Chicken. I love the huge servings for a good price. This cute restaurant has become my favorite spot to eat some good traditional food.“
“One of the best meals I've had. Period.Thai opal gives an elegant feel while providing excellent service. A great spot for a date night. The Thai Iced Tea and Spicy Peanut plate were delicious. Their fried rice is at the top of my list now. Overall, a wonderful experience. I didn't take enough pictures, but the peanut sauce accompanying these Shrimp Summer Rolls was delicious. Compliments to the chef.“
“Ambiance : A casual atmosphere, the place was fully organized, clean and with the different seating arrangement it can carry big partis and small ones.Services. Staff were very quick and friendly. I noticed a few other full tables and lots of takeout orders but still they manage to be fast, efficient and keep our drinks full.Food. The dishes are fresh, have a great flavor and so many options. As you can get a mix of Thai or Sushi. Great in taste, and the size of the meal was acceptable too compared to the prices which is very reasonable in comparison to other Thia halal restaurants.Chicken Pad Thai, Thai herbal chicken and pepper steak are the classic dishes, and I would say they were well done, the food was perfectly prepared and seasoned to please your taste buds. For me, that means anything else on the menu must be that much and more. The orange chicken was tangy and zesty, and the chicken was crispy. The tom yum gai soup was delicious. Loved the Eel with rice bowl. The tuna tower and their sushi were very well received and enjoyed I am guessing from everyone.I will definitely visit again to try more Entrées.“
“First time here and I was really impressed. I always try the chicken pad Thai at new Thai places as a reference and it was delicious. I also had the duck roti and the Tom kha soup. Everything was fresh, aromatic, and tasty. The Thai tea was made right. The service here is outstanding. I was greeted with a smile, sat down and served immediately. The place is a bit small but worth every visit. Will definitely be back.“
“I went here because I wasn’t feeling very well and wanted coconut soup. I did a pickup order and was really impressed with how well they keep the restaurant cozy and comfortable. The person who checked me out told me they’ve been there 30 years and I would love the soup. And he was right! It was exactly what I needed and I’m so glad I picked up two orders because this is going to be a great lunch tomorrow. I can already feel it heal my body and soul and open up my nasal passages. I will definitely be back!“
“Great prices and delicious food. I’d say it’s more of a takeout place but they do have seating available. Compared to the other Thai restaurants, I think this place offers the best value for your money. We had the Pad Thai, Panang Curry, and the Spicy Basil Stir-Fry. The portions were great, and everything tasted very fresh. Highly recommended and we will be back!“
“Food smells so good ?. Many orders are waiting to go at the counter. Family warm cozy atmosphere. Staffs are young and helpful. Beautiful decoration with two colorful flowers tall vases outside. You can always find a table here. Good place to enjoy.“
“I order from here through UberEats. Let me say that they have the best egg drop soup I've had since I've lived in Texas. Every entree I've ordered, their fried rice and appetizers, all delicious! This is my new place and I love it here! I can't wait to actually dine in!“
“Vegans and Vegetarians rejoice! Pinto Thai was made for us! There are so many choices! I usually get the fresh rolls as an appetizer and then follow up with some red curry or spicy Thai basil. Watch out! When you give them the spice level, they listen. Don't feel you need to amp it up.This is my go to takeout Thai spot.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians have MORE options here than omnivores!“
“This is one of my favorite spots. The food is amazing, it is like heaven on earth. They treat you like a princess and prince!Vegetarian options: Vegetable plates are on the menu!Dietary restrictions: Vegetables and soy products!Parking: Plenty!Kid-friendliness: Absolutely!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space!“
“To all the people complaining, this place is perfect, and I feel many of you guys are being picky; at 1 am, what will you get? What-a-burger Waffle House? This place has a lot of options for a late-night spot: rice, noodles, sushi, curry soup, etc. You’re not going to find that anywhere else, on a late night, the best spot to go when you're off work late or leaving the bar or a party at 1 am. Basil fried rice is my favorite. I order here at least once a week.“
“I ordered Pad Woon Sen and Tom Kha Soup with noodles. Everything was great except that when I got home with my order, they put Pad Thai noodles in there instead of thin rice noodles which soaks up all of the liquid and isn't very tasty as a leftover .“
“Everything was perfect! Delicious is an understatement and I am a picky eater. The portions are huge. Red curry with chicken was amazing. Everything fresh and hot and super fast service.I wish I could give them higher rating. My grandmother and I are making this a weekly lunch/dinner thing. Worth the ride and every penny!“
