“Best Thai food in the area by far- my husband and I have tried lots of other places and always come back here. It’s been our constant the last 2 years. Sick? Thai pan. Bad day? Thai pan. Celebrating? Thai pan. We order here at least once a month and it’s so good. The green curry, summer rolls, pad Thai and Tom Kha are our favorites. Thank you for always having amazing service and quality!!!!“
“Was in the neighborhood for something else. Searched for a Thai restaurant to feed four and found this place on Google and decided to try it. Food was tasty and what was impressive were two things. One the fried egg on top of the noodles and the price of around $50 with tax for four entrees which is hard to come by now-a-days although there is no-dine in.“
“Great neighborhood hangout restaurant. The Crab & Cream Cheese Rolls are a nice blend of sweet and savory; the Green Curry and Pad Kee Mow are delicious. The Pad Thai is okay, but I find it hard to eat great Pad Thai outside of Thailand. The portions are big, but we saved room for the Fried Cheesecake with mango sauce, and it is quite tasty.“
“Truly our favorite to-go spot & best fried rice in town! The food here is packed with flavor and always fresh. We have never been disappointed with anything we have tried. Generous portions at an affordable cost. We will keep coming back!“
“Some of thai restaurants were rude but this staff is extremely patient and courteous to my surprise. The food is out ofy expectations. Beautiful place, peaceful and welciming ambience. Nice outside seating too. Best thai food. Highly recommend“
“This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. It is my go to food delivery item when I don't feel like cooking. Everything I've gotten there has been tasty. My favorite is the pad see ew with tofu, but their curries are great too.“
“We love Banana Leaf and the family that owns and runs the restaurant. We’ve held rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, and family gatherings on top of our usual deliveries on nights we’re just too tired to cook. Shrimp blankets are a must for us. Our daughter has been eating those since she was a year old!“
“2nd time ordering. This time I tried crispy spring rolls with chicken. They were fresh & hot, but could use more dipping sauce. Tried wonton soup. Wow, it was so flavorful including the broth. The best wonton soup around. 2nd time ordering Chicken Pad Thai. I added extra shrimp for $3 & received 3 medium shrimp. The sauce is on the sweeter side. It's good. The lady taking your order on the phone & at the counter is very friendly. Looking forward to trying some new items next time.“
“Our absolute favorite place for sushi, noodles, apps and desserts! They have a great kids menu and sushi for happy hour. The food is fresh and our waiter Eliot is always super friendly! They even offer specialty vegan roll (Bangkok roll) which is my fav!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Great kids menu with multiple options (chicken, fish, noodles, etc)“
“It’s not the BEST Thai I’ve had … but it’s pretty good. The portions were huge, and the service was excellent. We had a tiny hiccup on the Thai Tea, and when the staff learned, they fixed it so fast you can tell they really care.We had the veggie egg rolls, shrimp spring rolls, chicken satay, Tom Kha chicken, and pad Thai. All of them were delivered as expected. I’m not a fan of cutting the spring rolls up, I wonder if they’d let me ask not to cut them ;-)They were hammering to go food and you can tell the kitchen staff was working super hard to ensure everyone got a great meal.“
“Friday evening date night with the wife. Very clean, the menus are extremely easy to understand and very well crafted. She had the pad Thai, I had the pad Si Ew with beef. Would definitely go back try a few more the appetizers in the future. She really liked the curry puffs. The bang bang shrimp was interesting. Crispy thin noodles fried and wrapped around a shrimp.“
“I recently enjoyed an amazing takeout experience from Saucy Thai in Plano that absolutely deserves a 5-star review! Every dish I ordered was a culinary delight, showcasing the authentic Thai flavors Saucy Thai is known for. The Tom Kha soup was the perfect starter, with its rich coconut broth and tangy flavors warming me from the first sip. The Kao Soi was a standout, its savory broth and tender noodles offering a true taste of Northern Thailand. The Pad Thai, a classic favorite, did not disappoint either, with its perfect balance of sweet, sour, and umami flavors. The Spicy Noodle Pad Kee Mao and Basil Fried Rice were both vibrant and flavorful, packed with fresh ingredients that spoke to the quality of the food. Not to be overlooked, the Dumplings, Crispy Spring Rolls, and Spicy Edamame were delicious appetizers that started the meal off right. Picking up my order was a breeze, and everything was packaged neatly, ensuring that the food remained hot and fresh until I could enjoy it at home. Saucy Thai in Plano has definitely earned a spot at the top of my list for exceptional Thai cuisine to-go!Vegetarian options: All dishes can be made with Tofu or VegetablesDietary restrictions: They customize as needed. We asked for no tofu and no egg for the basil fried rice!“
“Delicious food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere! We ate:- elderberry flower soda- 2 butterfly pea sodas- Chicken Spring rolls- tofu Noodle soup- tofu pad Thai crisp- meatless lo meinEverything was fresh, hot, and exactly what we expected! I'm planning on going back soon! They also have a large array of gluten-free options, which is perfect for my sister with celiac.Vegetarian options: Many of their dishes can be made without meatDietary restrictions: Gluten free options available on most dishesParking: Large parking lot with other surrounding restaurants“
“I don’t know where to start. The theme of the whole experience was “Addictive”.3 diverse food items, each of them sparked when I took a bite. That tuna tower looks heavenly, tastes even better. After the first bite we devoured it. The Tom Kha was flavorful. The crispy pad Thai was so unique.“
“The yellow curry at this Thai restaurant is a flavorful delight, with the perfect balance of coconut milk, spices, and tender chunks of protein. Its rich, aromatic taste makes it a standout dish. The curry fried rice complements it perfectly, featuring a medley of vegetables and well-seasoned rice, creating a satisfying and aromatic fusion. Together, they create a harmonious Thai culinary experience that's sure to please any curry enthusiast.“
“Stopped in during peak lunch service in a Wednesday and they were packed. Even still, I was seated within 2 minutes. The food is excellent. I went with Panang Curry and “hot” heat level. It was the perfect lunch portion and lunch heat level.10/10, I’ll be back for sure“
“I changed jobs and moved locations. I have tried every Best Thai, and every Thai restaurant, but this week I had an opportunity to revisit my special Best Thai. It was like coming home! I've never had better Rad Na. Everything we had was super good. You have to visit.“
“First time here for lunch with my sister and niece. We were hungry from marathon shopping and decided we needed some Thai food. The service was great and they were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant enough. The restaurant is small and cozy. The menu has a huge variety of dishes although many of them are quite similar. Our food was served quickly and came out nice and hot. The food itself, however, was pretty bland and lacked much of a flavor profile. I was surprised by this. My sister liked her food (shrimp) but said that the shrimp was a little overcooked. She loved her Thai Tea! My niece who is vegan enjoyed her vegetables, rice and tofu. I had the beef, vegetables and rice and was just not impressed. It was bland, the beef was tough and the veggies needed more cooking time. Rice was okay. I felt the prices were too high for what we got. If the food had been excellent, I would have been okay with the high prices. I still feel like this was a decent 4 star overall experience based on the nice people who work there and the excellent service we received.Dietary restrictions: Nice vegan options.“
“Pad thai and mango sticky rice have been good both times my wife and I have eaten here.Dining floor is generally clean, restrooms are generally clean, and this restaurant is away from the main face of the shopping area so parking is a fair bit easier to find during peak hours.Very good.“
“We went to have lunch and we wanted to try their Thai lunch menu. But we ended up getting entrees from their regular menu. We got, real crab fried rice, papaya salad and fish fillet from their menu. Friendly staff. Clean and well decorated Thai restaurant. Lot of parking space, too.“
“The BEST Thai I have had in this area! Amazing food, everything we had was so delicious. Had the Thai egg rolls, fried chicken dumplings, chicken pangang curry, shrimp and vegetable pad thai, Thai papaya salad, and the kid's chicken pho. Everything was very fresh, with large portions and super tasty. The service was great, and the server was friendly and helpful even in a busy time. The spice level is to be listened to, 1 to 5. 2,being medium and 3 being hot and 5 being Thai spicy. They are serious. The place is somewhat small, if you come at a busy time, you may have to wait. Absolutely worth the wait. My new favorite place! Definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Lots of items can be vegetarian. Tofu and or vegetable can be the choice to the main dishes.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu available“
“Get the Herb Chicken Fried Rice. It's the best fried rice I've had in Dallas hands down! The Basil Fried Rice is also super good if you don’t want fried chicken, highly recommend! The Pad Kee Mow and Pad See Ew are pretty good if you're in the mood for noodles.“
“One of my favorite Thai spots in the area! Food is amazing, affordable, and brought out in a timely manner. The ambience is nice and the owner is even nicer. Gig takes her time to make every customer feel welcome. I highly recommend trying this spot!“
“Tried this restaurant on my trip to Dallas. We ordered Vegetable Penang Curry, Vegetable Pad Thai and Chicken Pad Thai. The food was delicious. I ordered spice level of 3 out of 5 with 5 being the spiciest though one of my friend ordered the Penang Curry with 4 spice level. 3 spice level was mild and perfect for me.The service was great and we got our entrees on time. The server even helped us clicking a picture for us.The ambiance was decent.I would highly recommend this place and must try if looking for a good Thai place! A+ Star“
“They have the best service. The guy knew that we were muslims and he gave us these before its time to break our fast and he was so nice saying how much time we have left. The food was really good too, and there cinnamon fried icecream is the best.“
“So I have ordered here once before and this time I figured I would try the drunken noodle..... it was very good on heat the only thing I would recommend is less basil and more peppers. The basil was overbearing but it was still flavorful will give it another try.“
“I love hanging out with friends at Bambu. We had fresh conch larb (off menu special) ... so yummy! We also have oyster salad, creamy Pacific Coast oysters tossed in a spicy-citrus dressing with fried onions and garlic. The Pad Kee Mao Boran is always a go-to for me - fresh, thick rice noodles with its aromatic "wok" char. We also have a bottle of 2016 Twommey Merlot, always love exploring their wine menu - very extensive and diverse.“
“Ordered a few times on GrubHub and entrees are excellent! Spring rolls need to be crispier (minor issue). Great portions, meat is tender, vegetables are fresh, flavors are pleasing, and even with delivery, the food is hot. Will keep ordering from Lucky 99.“
“I literally come here like every week with my mom. The servers have grown to know us because of how frequently we come here. The food is amazing, you need to try the Pad See-Ew or the Orange Chicken. I love the huge servings for a good price. This cute restaurant has become my favorite spot to eat some good traditional food.“
“First time here and I was really impressed. I always try the chicken pad Thai at new Thai places as a reference and it was delicious. I also had the duck roti and the Tom kha soup. Everything was fresh, aromatic, and tasty. The Thai tea was made right. The service here is outstanding. I was greeted with a smile, sat down and served immediately. The place is a bit small but worth every visit. Will definitely be back.“
“I always love the food and service but never paid "gratuity fee" of 18$ before. We leave good tip always wzout someone forcing us like that. We are 2 adults and 2 kids and a young toddler. The staff only served 3 not the 5(my kids ate else where)why do i pay gratitude fee?“
“Food smells so good ?. Many orders are waiting to go at the counter. Family warm cozy atmosphere. Staffs are young and helpful. Beautiful decoration with two colorful flowers tall vases outside. You can always find a table here. Good place to enjoy.“
“Hands down, the BEST place to go in the area for Thai food. The service is top-notch ?and the food quality is consistent. I work in the area and frequent this place a few times a week during my lunch break. I love that their level 5 spicy gives real legit spice . I will continue to come back because the staff are so friendly here. Always greeted with a smile and delicious food. Pro tip: add some chili oil to the sweet egg roll sauce if you want some spice with those perfectly crunchy egg rolls“
“I have several food intolerances and the staff take great care to speak to the chef to make sure what I’m asking about is safe for me. I love the Penang curry with chicken! I have horrible reactions to MSG and I have eaten safely from here.Dietary restrictions: Gluten, Dairy, and MSG plus several different veggies.“
“Vegans and Vegetarians rejoice! Pinto Thai was made for us! There are so many choices! I usually get the fresh rolls as an appetizer and then follow up with some red curry or spicy Thai basil. Watch out! When you give them the spice level, they listen. Don't feel you need to amp it up.This is my go to takeout Thai spot.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians have MORE options here than omnivores!“
“To all the people complaining, this place is perfect, and I feel many of you guys are being picky; at 1 am, what will you get? What-a-burger Waffle House? This place has a lot of options for a late-night spot: rice, noodles, sushi, curry soup, etc. You’re not going to find that anywhere else, on a late night, the best spot to go when you're off work late or leaving the bar or a party at 1 am. Basil fried rice is my favorite. I order here at least once a week.“
“This is one of my favorite spots. The food is amazing, it is like heaven on earth. They treat you like a princess and prince!Vegetarian options: Vegetable plates are on the menu!Dietary restrictions: Vegetables and soy products!Parking: Plenty!Kid-friendliness: Absolutely!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space!“
“I ordered this from Uber eats for delivery. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, Pot stickers, and egg rolls. Holy effing **** this place rules. Like really really rules. Please never shut your doors and thank you. Feel free to tell me what to try next “
