“It was our first time to visit. Upon entrance, you receive a warm welcome & a quick offer to help you when you're ready. We ordered a 1/2 pound of ribs, 1/2 pound of brisket, 1/4 pound of sausage, mac & cheese, coleslaw, & a kool-aid to drink.
Let me tell you, everything we tasted was really good. The brisket was one of the best I've ever tasted! It was tender & full of flavor. The ribs were also tender and covered in a nice sauce. The coleslaw was unique but tasteful & the mac & cheese paired well with the barbecue. The kool-aid had just the right flavor and sugar.
Great food with reasonable prices......this is a nice gem for Garland and certainly a place we will visit frequently. ⭐“

“Seriously the best catfish and shrimp! The breading (along with everything else) is seasoned so well. Everything is fresh and tastes amazing. The catfish literally melts in your mouth. The food isn’t greasy and the customer service is 10/10! We love coming here. So rare to find that authentic Louisiana taste, but this is it!!“

“I recently hosted my child's 4th birthday party at Monster Yogurt, and it was an absolute blast! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Kimberly, our party hostess, was simply amazing. She was so friendly, attentive, and took care of every detail to ensure the day went smoothly. Her energy and enthusiasm made the experience so enjoyable for both the kids and adults. She even went as far to take pictures of my child enjoying his special day and made sure they were sent to me! The customer service was top-notch, with every staff member going above and beyond to make sure our group was taken care of. The store itself was spotless and well-maintained, and the play area was perfect for all the kids to have fun and let loose. It kept them entertained for hours, and it was such a relief knowing they were in a safe and clean environment. As for the frozen yogurt, it was incredible! There were so many yogurt flavors to choose from, and the topping selections seemed endless! Everyone was able to customize their perfect treat, and it was a hit with all the guests. Another very important piece to this was my child has severe food allergies to dairy and egg. Despite having dietary limitations, he was able to have plenty of delicious options to choose from including a dairy free chocolate sorbet! This made my mama heart so happy and his belly so full! If you're looking for a fun, stress-free, and memorable place to host your child's birthday party, I highly recommend Monster Yogurt. “The place is inside a gas station with a few tables and chairs for dine-in. I was a bit shy at first because they only spoke Spanish and I was struggling to place my order but the food was worth it! It was $12 for a plate of 3 barbacoa tacos, rice, and beans. The green hot sauce was yummy too (not too hot)!“

“The best ribs I've ever had. I bought half a rack and they included the rib caps. I got home and ate it all at just couldn't stop so I still have a spicy sausage and a Texas Twinkie left because I just couldn't stop eating those ribs they were that good.“

“Chef Carl and his team catered my wedding reception and they were great! 👍 From planning and tasting to execution, I was so glad to have 3 Dimensional Catering as my vendor. Chef Carl is flexible and if you accidentally call him while he's out on a delivery, he'll get back to you! The staff wore masks, which I requested and very much appreciated during this time of the pandemic. The food was delicious, our guests loved it! I especially enjoyed my wedding cake! ☺️“

“Just stopped by Abu Omar Halal in Richardson and was seriously impressed. The place looks super clean, modern, and well organized from the moment you walk in. The digital menu boards are bright and easy to follow, the counter setup is smooth, and the whole restaurant has a fresh professional vibe.
The menu selection looks amazing shawarma, falafel, family platters, brisket shawarma, kids meals, desserts, and more. You can tell they put effort into both quality and presentation. Even the setup around the register and drink station gives off a polished and welcoming atmosphere.
Service was friendly, the environment felt comfortable, and the restaurant looked ready to handle both quick lunch runs and family dinners. If you’re in the Richardson area and craving halal food with a modern touch, Abu Omar is definitely worth checking out. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!“
